Trump now says he wants Marjorie Taylor Greene to RETURN to politics as their love-hate relationship takes new twist

President Donald Trump revealed he would 'love' to see Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene make a political comeback just hours after labeling her a 'traitor.'

During a brief NBC News interview on Saturday, the president was asked about the Republican lawmaker's future after she abruptly announced she would resign from Congress in early 2026 following their public split.

Trump admitted that 'it's not going to be easy for her' to claw her way back into politics, but said, 'I'd love to see it,' noting that for now, 'she's got to take some rest.'

When pressed on whether the relationship between the once-inseparable pair could ever be mended, the commander in chief said: 'I can patch up differences with anyone.'

Just yesterday, Greene released a 10-minute video in which she announced her impending departure from Congress - a decision that neither Trump nor House Speaker Mike Johnson knew about beforehand, according to NBC.

'Everyone in the world found out at the same time,' a source close to Greene told the outlet.

Greene used Friday's lengthy video to brand the president 'hateful' for revoking his endorsement, a move that quickly saw him fire back and label her a 'raging lunatic.'

She admitted that her mounting frustration with Washington's political establishment, along with her fight to release the so-called Epstein files, became central to the feud with her once-close ally.

The Georgia Representative raged against the 'political industrial complex' which she claimed uses Americans as 'pawns in an endless game of division.'

She said that it would be unfair for her 'sweet little district' to 'endure a hurtful and hateful primary against me by the President we all...

He's very magnanimous. I'd take him up on it, Marjorie.

“hateful”
“raging lunatic”
Who hasn’t ended a close relationship with these parting words?

If she leaves early that’s one less Republican vote until she can be replaced. So better to keep her on.

Supposedly what started this all is that MTG believes that Trump’s Administration is way too pro Israel and she thinks that is not a good thing, that they are dragging him into Israel First instead of America First, this has nothing to do with Epstein

‘I can patch up differences with anyone.’

You gotta give the man credit. He doesn’t hold grudges. It’s a truly admirable quality that he has that most of the rest of us lack. I sometimes joke that I have “Irish Alzheimers”... I forget everything except my grudges.

I see this as another step in making sure the Republicans fall in line behind the Trump agenda the same way those dems never step out of line. It gets a lot done. Too many grandstander among the Republicans. Anyone who doesn’t want to support the Trump agenda should change to or run as an Independent.

So many people are either too young, or weren't paying attention, to the Trump of the 80's through 00's. For their edification, he wrote, and lives The Art of the Deal. He has, in less than a year, made some astonishing America-First deals no one ever thought possible. Now he's making a quieter, more personal, deal with Marjorie. He knows she has followers who can be useful in the future, so it's time to get her back into the fold through a little negotiation.

The country has been so bombarded by the Leftist media's ridiculous "Trump is a dunce!" narrative, but he could well be the smartest, and canniest, US President in history. Deal-making, whether between nations or people, is indeed an art. And we have the master deal-maker working for free to our benefit. It's simply frustrating that so many Leftist-media indoctrinated Americans don't realize that.

I'm old enough to remember the Leftist-media's full-bore onslaught against President Reagan during his first term. By the time that the country realized in his second term what an amazing difference he was making in the lives of Americans, he and Nancy were on the cover of Vanity Fair.

Judy, to do that, one would have to set aside one’s self-serving agenda.

Elon is has now started showing the origin country of posters in X, showing that many of the sob story posts supposedly from poor widdle innocent civilians being oppressed and genocided in Gaza, were actually fake from bots located everywhere from other Middle Eastern countries, to China, Russia, even Canada.
Doug in Exile had a podcast talking about this today.
