JD Vance Drops Truth Bombs on Canada
https://hotair.com/ ^ | November 21, 2025 | David Strom

Yesterday, I wrote about the fact that Canada is being overrun by migrants. Almost half of all births are now to foreign-born mothers (42% currently, and rising), and one-third of the overall population is foreign-born.

One of the many terrible consequences of the liberal policies that have resulted in this replacement of the native population is stagnating economic growth.

Migration, of course, is not the only cause of this stagnation. Energy policies, housing policies, and all sorts of government meddling in the economy are at fault as well, but it is undeniable that replacing a high-trust first-world citizenry with people from a low-trust, low-education, and low-productivity region is bound to make your society and economy lose vitality and eventually collapse.

Ask Rome about that, if you like.

Canadians have been dumping on the United States even more than usual, and to be fair, Trump has trolled them pretty mercilessly because he hated Justin "Fidelito" Trudeau. Trump is like that, although again, to be fair, Canadians have dumped on us for a very long time.

I always tell my Canadian relatives they are NOT a nation - they are a WEF/British-controlled, Walmart parking lot.

Most just get angry and start spewing about Bush, or Trump, or whatever the CBC has told them to hate.

A few get it.

This is mostly a Toronto and Quebec issue. The rest of Canada is either generally neutral towards the US or are positively inclined (Alberta) towards the US.

I’ve been to Canada many times, camping and fishing in the Verendrye Provincial park in Quebec and 2005 Montreal Jazz Fest and as a boy with my parents on vacations to places in Ontario. It’s a beautiful country but now it’s run by a bunch of left wing lunatics.

The rest is pro-US?
Can you back that up?

Alberta is pro-US.

The historical reason for the East’s hatred of the US is because the Easterners are descendants of the Loyalists, who lost their war against the Patriots. They’ve resented the US since.

It’s mostly played for votes.

From Grok.

Broader Sentiment Trends (Favorability/Ally Views)

National: 25% see US as “ally/friendly” (down 8% from Feb 2025); 44% “unfriendly,” 20% “enemy.” 91% want less reliance on US. Travel to US intent: only 9% plan visits in 2025 (down from 28%).
Regional Variations (from Pew 2025, Environics May 2025, YouGov Apr 2025):
Prairies (AB, SK, MB): Slightly warmer (~30-35% positive); higher Trump/unity views (+marginal differences).
Quebec/BC: Coolest (~20-25% positive); 48% in Quebec/BC see US influence as sovereignty threat.
Ontario/Atlantic: Align with national (~25-30% positive); focus on tariffs’ economic hit.

Partisan Note: Conservatives (20% open to merger) are more pro-US than Liberals/NDP (5-6%), amplifying Prairie (Conservative-leaning) support.

One could have easily said that about the US under Brandon.

Sadly, most Canadians are suffering from Stage 4 TDS. They listen to the criminal libs on the government run news and follow along like a bunch of trained seals.

Thankfully, my immediate family are all pro-America, Trump supporters. Finger crossed for the 51st.

So you don’t know and rely on Grok to dig up some useless polls that even at their most favorable show that two thirds of Canadians do not look favorably on the US.

It was SO important that JD was picked as VP. President Trump is NOT the movement. He spoke for the movement. JD will carry it forward.

The rest of Canada keeps losing elections and control of their provinces' borders.

The ecponpmic system in Canada has alweays been copntrolled for the nenefit of a family compact system of party donors. IN return the government puts high tarriffs on IUS goods so that their family com-act does not have t9 compete.

So Carney vilifies the USA for the purpose of maintaining that isolationist economic system. The majority of Canadians have been fed CHH propaganda for 12 years via the CBC and CTV....and the People of Canada have been hoodwinked with TDS..Their media is controlled and they do not know the truth.

I am all for making Canada the 51st state just to get rid of the idiot federal politicians who have held Canada back since WWII.

He'll go against Gavin Newsom. It won't be easy.

Trump won twice but his opponents were Hillary and Kamala.

No. I Actually know the generalities. Most anti-Americanism is a eastern phenomenon and is historically rooted in the defeat of the loyalists during the Revolutionary war.

The actual percentages were what were needed by Grok.

Gavin Newsom is such a POS with so many skeletons in his closet, that I don't think most of the rest of the country would vote for him. The mainstream media will cover for him, of course, but less and less people are relying on that for information, and there will be far too many clips and snippets of him being an incompetent a-hole on alternative media. They'd have to steal it again. Which isn't out of the question, of course.
