FRUITLAND, Fla. - A 24-hour manhunt triggered by a deadly stabbing at a Florida Dollar General store came to an end on Saturday with the arrest of a convicted sex offender.
Dig deeper: According to the Putnam County Sheriff’s Office, deputies went to the Dollar General store in Fruitland shortly after 3:45 p.m. on Friday after receiving a 911 call about an unresponsive woman with stab wounds.
They performed CPR before she was taken to an area hospital, where she died.

Dig deeper: According to PCSO, Beasley is a convicted registered sex offender with an extensive criminal history dating back to 1991.
He was released from prison in July after serving 5 years for failure to comply with sex offender registration in 2021.
Beasley was charged with first-degree premeditated murder.

He could be a serial killer, I own real estate less than 4 miles from where this murder took place.
Talking to locals down there, the rumor is that he was suspected of murdering his cousin a number of years ago, when the police found her body on the railroad tracks minus her hands and head.
In this case, he’s going to get the death penalty in all probability, Putnam County is a small rural agricultural county where this type of crime is very rare.

Musta’ watched too many old Western shows and movies when I was a kid, they hung the bad guys at sundown. Maybe a firing squad on national TV would work these days but being hung in those days you would learn right from wrong real young.

Oh jeez.
Another in a long string of isolated incidents.
It would save US taxpayers a lot of money if we were to buy an island and move the criminals there. One they cannot leave. Men on one and women on another so that they cannot breed.
We can make it look somewhat humane but we need to remove them from our nation. Dump illegals there too. They can make it on their own. If they all kill each other, that’s their business.
We need to consider what’s humane for those not committing the crimes.
