What to know about the Epstein files House vote:
The House will vote Tuesday on a bill to require the Justice Department to release its files related to the investigation of convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein. The vote is expected around 2 p.m.
The bill, known as the Epstein Files Transparency Act, is likely to pass by a wide bipartisan margin. President Trump dropped his opposition to the legislation on Sunday. House Speaker Mike Johnson said Tuesday that he would vote to approve it and that the final tally could be close to unanimous.

Supposedly the vote is to be an unnanimous voice vote, but someone will ask for a recorded vote, wonder how many democrats will vote no?
If all the liberal accusations about Trump were true, wouldn't they have been released years ago, during Biden's administration?
They aren’t going to release them. They were just using their non-release to smear Trump with.
I don’t trust anything that’s been kept hidden and in the possession of the FBI/CIA and DC deep state for 20 years.
They are too politically corrupt to be trusted.
Many documents have likely been shredded, while others have probably been manufactured and added later.
If all the liberal accusations about Trump were true, wouldn’t they have been released years ago, during Biden’s administration?
They tried to kill President Trump- multiple times...
They tried to jail President Trump- multiple times...
They illegally released President Trump’s tax returns- multiple time...
They tried to keep President Trump off the ballot- in multiple states..
You’re going to tell me if they had a shred of evidence that incriminated him with Epstein it wouldn’t have been released years ago???
Mark my words ...
It’s live now:
Like the Kennedy assassination, anything worthwhile has been scrubbed and shredded long ago by the intelligence agencies
This is going to be a disaster for Democrats but it will be popular with the young Democrat members of Congress who wish grab power from the old generation of Democrats clinging to power
Gop wanting the bill changed in the Senate to “protect the victims” and people named in grand jury. Issa kind of said the last part under his breath.
Raskin wants it passed and signed as is
DEms arent backing down
If Trump actually wanted them released, he would have continued to insist they not be released. Since he said he wants them released, the Democrats will vote against releasing them. They don’t want them released either they just want the unknown to spin conspiracy yarns
The vote tally is going to be very interesting.
Everything is going to be released and it’s going to be very interesting
Bill and Hillary Clinton are resisting subpoenas for depositions on Epstein for a very good reason
Everyone wanted this at one point, then it became political and the Dems said release it all. We'll see what the Senate does with it.
Gee, I wonder why they didn’t do this while the POTATUS was in the WH.
Otto Pen would sign off on anything.
Wonder who went down on more women Bill and Hillary?
there is something in that grand jury testimony that GOP really doesnt want released. johnson brought it up , too
some dude just called mike johnson a liar and got shutdown
raskin said victims names are protected in this bill
several times victims in back (or some group of people) have clapped during this including twice during raskin right now
Tie the vote to the release of the names of all Congressmen/women and Senators with or without settlements from Taxpayer funds, citing sexual accusations.
I think they are referring to the collateral damage names in the report, like Issa was referring too, the waiter or doorman etc. not the actual victims.
