Netanyahu slams 'extremist' Israeli West Bank settlers

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu vowed he would deal with the violent "handful of extremists" among Israeli settlers in the occupied West Bank, following clashes and another attack on Monday.

Homes and vehicles in a Palestinian village were torched on Monday evening, hours after members of the so-called Hilltop Youth movement clashed with security forces who were dismantling an illegal settler outpost.

In recent weeks, attacks attributed to Israeli settlers, notably those living in outposts, have multiplied, targeting Palestinians and sometimes Israeli soldiers.

"I view with great severity the violent riots and the attempt by a handful of extremists to take the law into their own hands," Netanyahu said, calling the perpetrators "a group that does not represent" settlers in the Palestinian territory.

"I call on the law enforcement authorities to deal with the rioters to the fullest extent of the law," he said in a statement.

"I intend to deal with this personally, and convene the relevant ministers as soon as possible to address this serious phenomenon."

Israeli security forces were deployed in their hundreds on Monday morning to evacuate and demolish the illegal Israeli settler outpost of Tzur Misgavi in the Gush Etzion area, near the Palestinian town of Sair.

Hours later, the Israeli military said it had been dispatched alongside police to the nearby Palestinian village of Jab'a, around 30 kilometres southwest of Jerusalem, following reports of "dozens of Israeli civilians who set fire to and vandalised homes and vehicles".

Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Saar said the "Jewish rioters" in the West Bank were harming Israel, "shaming Judaism and causing damage to the settlement enterprise".

We are pushing on Israel for these things.

Netanyahu was fully ok with this a while back.

If you want peace, you have to “compromise,” and in Israel’s case, that’s (((at a minimum) halt the expansion of settlements in the West bank, respect the agreement for the Temple Mount.

The Netanyahu government is about as hard corps right wing nationalist and pro settlement expansion as ever has been. You can honestly say, no government in Israel has ever been this far right (Israeli nationalist and pro settler).

I doubt this is benevolence.

All the West Bank squatters are a mix of Jordanians and Syrians... They should return to their original land and leave Israel be.

Israel and their Final Solution, Netanyahu and many others are the grand and great grand sons of the Nazis. If not in reality, in action.

Who is to say where any of the peoples original land is. It is forbidden to take DNA tests in Israel. They don’t want to know, their word is the reality.

Hey, allah is not God. He’s a figment of Mohammed’s imagination. Or maybe a demon.

Mohammed is not a prophet. He was a crazy pedophile murderer, at best. Most likely demon possessed.

Piss be upon him.

About 20% of Israeli citizens include those of the Muslim faith... 72% of the population consider themselves Jews.

Not all Muslims are antisemitic. Those that are should scatter to wherever country they originated from... The rest can become citizens of Israel.

DNA would mean nothing. The original “refugees” included people who had moved there just two years earlier. And no, they do NOT have a “right to return”. They rejected the partition plan. Arab armies invaded. Against overwhelming odds, the Jews - who had bought land and made it productive - beat the Arab armies.

In the years after WW2, tens of millions were displaced. I’ve seen estimates of over 60 million. None of whom claim or are allowed a “right to return “!

Nearly a million Jews were forced out of Arab lands. 7 million Muslims were forced out of India. These things happen after a war and WW2 was a big war!

Israel’s final solution? Um…Arabs are the ones demanding genocide! They were offered over 90% of the West Bank with East Jerusalem as capitol. The ARABS refused! They consistently refuse to accept the idea of ANY FREE JEWS alive in the Middle East!

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin “Netanyahu has consistently supported and expanded settlement activity” in the West Bank and East Jerusalem, with a significant recent approval being the controversial E1 settlement plan in September 2025.

He has also worked to legalize outposts previously considered illegal under Israeli law.

Key Actions and Approvals
E1 Settlement Plan: In September 2025, Netanyahu formally approved the construction of approximately 3,400 new homes in the E1 area, which connects Jerusalem to the Ma’ale

Adumim settlement. This project is highly contentious as it would effectively bisect the West Bank, a move critics, including the UN and Palestinian Authority, warn could permanently undermine the prospect of a contiguous Palestinian state. During the signing ceremony, Netanyahu explicitly vowed there would be “no Palestinian state”.

Legalization of Outposts: Netanyahu’s government has a policy of legalizing unauthorized outposts in the West Bank, effectively turning them into official settlements. This has provided unconditional political support to settlers and minimized law enforcement against certain illegal activities.

His government has given far-right, pro-settlement ministers, such as Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich, significant control over West Bank planning and settlement policies, which has further streamlined the approval process for new construction.

Record Growth: The year 2023 saw a record number of construction plans advanced, making it one of the most significant periods for settlement expansion since the Oslo Accords.

Golan Heights Expansion: In December 2024, the government also unanimously approved a plan to double the Israeli settler population in the occupied Golan Heights.

Netanyahu’s approach to settlements is widely seen by the international community as a major obstacle to peace and the two-state solution, with most countries considering the settlements illegal under international law. Israel disputes this, citing historical and security claims to the land.

While Netanyahu has recently condemned a spike in extremist settler violence against Palestinians, emphasizing that most settlers are “law-abiding,” critics argue that the government’s overall supportive stance and the presence of far-right settler leaders in top positions create an environment where such actions can occur with impunity.

Bibi, is finally taking on a bunch of welfare deadbeats that are an impediment to any peaceful solution to the political situation in Israel/Palestine.

Highly, doubtful...... he’s feeling the heat & buying time.

Wow—reading post no 12-—one realizes its
very v-e-r-y profitable being an “Israeli settler.”

How many US tax dollars did Netantyahu give his beloved land grabbing “settlers?”

The long record of so-called “expanding Israeli security” includes three 10-year framework agreements:
<><>in 1998 ($21.3 billion tax dollars),
<><>in 2008 ($32 billion tax dollars)
<><>in 2016 ($38 billion tax dollars).

“Emergency packages,” including the substantial billions of tax dollars approved during the 2024 Gaza campaign, came on top of the above-delineated baseline billions. Each cycle raised both expectations and billion dollar tax dollar commitments.

Biden himself gave Israel $12.7 billion tax dollars in 2024———bumble Biden was buying Democrat votes.......after all, it was an “election year.”

The underlying stupidity is laid out in “US Security Assistance to Israel” briefing materials published by the annoying American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC).

The parasitic document as understood by US taxpayers: “Always demanding more tax dollars, Israel has long defined pocketing US tax dollars as “important” to its own national interests.

Israel even laughingly “claims” it “helps” the United States meet security challenges through “close cooperation”,

Yet 9/11 when 3000 Americans died was planned in Israel’s backyard and the US heard not
a peep about it.” The US got no 9/11 warning from its self-styled “greatest ally” in the parasitic Mideast.

But you can bet the “settlers” just kept on land grabbing.
