The political assassination of Charlie Kirk continues to impact America. Charlie’s conservative nonprofit organization, Turning Point USA, has seen a surge in membership. There are reports across the country of increased church attendance, as lapsed congregants contemplate the sacrifice Charlie made to spread a Christian message. Conservative and Christian Americans are expressing themselves more boldly on social media platforms and college campuses.
An equally important, though darkly troubling, consequence of his murder has been the deluge of mockery and hatred from leftists celebrating Charlie’s death. Antifa-aligned groups show up on college campuses to attack Turning Point staff and prevent students from hearing Charlie’s arguments. Prominent Democrats continue to pretend that violent leftist rhetoric had nothing to do with his murder. Celebrity “journalists” defend Charlie’s assassination by not-so-subtly suggesting that Charlie’s willingness to debate a range of political and moral issues with Americans of all political backgrounds constituted some kind of impermissible “hate” or linguistic “violence.”

A lot of non-leftist Americans have realized over the last two months that leftists want them dead.
For the last ten years, they’ve watched Antifa domestic terrorists burn down businesses, threaten drivers, and perpetrate all kinds of violence against random American citizens. Seeing this organized terrorism on computer screens, many non-leftists could effectively compartmentalize these incidents of violence and destruction as the actions of revolutionary Marxists and militant Democrats.

It’s inevitable.
They don't think there will be a civil war because their terrorist groups are protected by Dem state governments now and when they regain power effective opposition against the combined power of the Federal government and that of the Dem-controlled states will make armed opposition impossible.
This is why declaring certain states like CA, OR, and IL to be in insurrection against the US is terribly important: Dem pols and officials need to be arrested and the Dem Party lustrated so its members can neither vote nor hold public office again. This would deny the left/Dems any chance of regaining national political power.
I agree. In fact, I would say that we are in a cold civil war right now.
When the rhetoric leads states to stand down and permit violence against its citizens, then those citizens will rightfully look for justice.
And it will not be a pretty sight.
So far, only a few places openly allow leftist attacks to go completely unpunished. But if that changes, there will be push back.
The leftists want us to start shooting, that would be an excuse to take our firearms.
The Left wants a civil war if they can't take absolute power by other means. In fact, they are conducting the early stages of one right now.
The left will bot satisfy itself and respect the Constitution because they want socialism. They will push until they get it, while claiming any pushback is an act of violence.
There will be civil war if we defend ourselves. And if we are too cowardly and/or complacent to defend ourselves, we will end up in concentration camps awaiting extermination.
The Left wants anyone not embracing their Marxist ideology dead.
I also think a spate of assassinations and counter assassinations could degenerate into something like El Salvador in the 80s.
In any case, it won't be the cakewalk the left believes it would be.
Look at that democrat cretin from Virginia who was talking about putting two bullets in the head of his Republican opponent. He even mentioned killing the Republican’s children and then pissing on their graves.
And the Rats still voted for him as Attorney General (the highest law enforcement officer of Virginia). This filthy scumbag has NO business being in a position of power. It is a glaring example of what conservatives are up against.

If the left knew what the true results of their “civil war” would be, they would be terrified to go to sleep at night.
The left thinks they want it because they are stoned into a romantic admiration of the Marxist revolution”. The right thinks they want to give it to the left because the Democrats have become the Statists and forgot the true meaning of our first revolution. That makes for a powder keg with both sides playing with matches. It won’t be pretty.
A civil war with the left against the right would not be anything like the one with the north and south. It would be neighbor against neighbor, relative against relative, much worse than the war of 1861. Law and order must prevail and the far left rhetoric from politicians must stop, or things will get very, very fugly.
Not Civil.
Revolutionary.
We’re not at war with each other.

It is not “wanting a war” when you realize you have to defend yourself because you are the one being attacked.
I have had people on the left openly call for and directly tell me I deserve to be shot, only because of who I voted for.

That said, they sincerely want us dead if we refuse to accept their Marxist ideology.
I don't think they have considered the consequences. They are just seething with hatred and want that hatred to find expression in our extermination.
