They should be counted by noon on election day Day too.

It took California a month to count their votes in the presidential election.

Incrementalism is how we got here. Incrementalism is the only way we’ll get out. Try to get it all at once and we’ll get tossed out of office.
The ONLY exception I’d make is military ballots.
If they’re turned in by election day at the facility where the troops are stationed they should be counted.
There’ve been too many cases of military voters be screwed over by someone slow walking the ballots.

More and more first time voters only heard of days or weeks of voting.
The urgency of election night used to have the Dems saying “how many votes for us do we need to balance out the GOP in the rural areas.” Then somehow they appeared and the Dems won again.
NY did that with an election for about 3 months to get in a democrat House rep in DC when the Republican was ahead by 80,000 votes. They kept counting until the Demonicrat *won* by a few hundred and then decided they have *found* all the missing ballots and counting was done.
That was the most blatant seat steal I had ever seen.
Yeah, they did it with all those ballots supplied to them by the CCP.

They should be banned completely... If you can’t get your *ss to a polling station to vote, then democracy can carry on without you. A simple solution... Generic polling stations set up along with regular polling stations where you can vote for candidates where you live. Then if you happen to be in Florida and live in New York you can vote for candidates back in New York. If you live in a foreign country... Same deal. Polling stations set up at embassies and consulates. Voting is the one obligation you should fulfill in person and everybody who’s eligible to vote should be forced to vote.
Ballots only by Election Day? Then how in the heck are we supposed to count these boxes of ballots we “found” in the basement of the courthouse?
Military Ballots excepted....
Yeah sometimes if you cant get what you want, you get what you can and then move from there. Some people will sacrifice progress for idealism.

A great start, but the whole idea of the feds trying to set blanket rules for ballots will likely be challenged by democrat-run states on the premise that election rules are set at the state level. Unfortunately, I don’t see this going anywhere. There will still be elections decided in places like California, Oregon, Minnesota, etc. by a last-minute suitcase full of uncounted ballots that was “found” two weeks after election day where all of the ballots just happen to be for the dem candidate who was behind by a few hundred votes.
This helps like not at all.

As bad as Pam Bondi’s been, Harmeet has been great. Fire Blondi and promote Harmeet to Attorney General. Since she’s already been confirmed, she would not have to go through another confirmation process either.
That will not happen and it shouldn’t be tried. People who work, the elderly, people who must keep a tight schedule, etc. What would you tell a disabled veteran who prefers to vote at his precinct’s location but can’t arrange for transportation until that afternoon?
