Gov. Newsom blasts Trump administration for not attending climate conference in Brazil

Gov. Gavin Newsom is in Brazil for the United Nations Climate Change Conference, known as COP30, where he'll spend the week promoting California's clean air efforts and criticizing President Donald Trump.
In São Paulo on Monday, while speaking at Milken Institute's Global Investors Symposium, Newsom repeatedly blasted the Trump administration for not even sending "a note-taker."

I feel bad for Newsom’s kids. Not because of “climate change”... but because their HIS kids. That’s gotta be traumatic for them.
On the other hand, I VOTED for President Trump to stay away completely from the “climate conference”, so good deal!

I wonder why Gavin didn’t mention the 4 Lane highway that was built through the rainforest destroying 8 miles worth of it in order to have better traffic flow for this conference. If these people really cared about the environment, they would’ve met by video instead of 50,000 people meeting in the rainforest.
