The best way to support Israel while being 100% America First is for Israel to be sovereign and to call for an end to all US aid to Israel.
A country with financial handcuffs cannot make decisions to preserve itself and ensure its survival if their funding is dependent on taking orders.
A sovereign Israel that never takes aid from the US can respond to its hostile Islamic neighbors anyway it sees fit.
The beauty of that is that it’s no longer going to be America’s concern.
When we eventually cut off all aid to Israel, we will also be able to get rid of our military base in Qatar because we need to make sure we are very America First and we can’t be making deals with the Muslim Brotherhood.
By encouraging Israel to be independent of US aid, we help ensure Israel is not destroyed by hostile Islamic nations who want to convince the US that Islam is capable of coexisting. We also get to eliminate all scapegoats of foreign interference in the US. Since we are ending aid to Israel, there won’t be a need for @AIPAC anymore, which means us Americans will need to find a new boogeyman to blame for all of our domestic issues and failures.
If you truly believe Israel has a right to exist, you should call for all US aid for Israel to end.
We are $38 trillion in debt and we can’t claim to be America First while dictating to Israel if they can enter GAZA or bomb Iran.
No more money. No more babysitting.

I hope more people will travel to Israel and the Syrian border like I did this week so they can experience the same revelation I just had in the Holy Land.
I had such an amazing week, and now I feel such a commitment to advocating for all aid to Israel to be cut off.
In the end, everyone is going to be thrilled. No more aid to Israel and then Israel gets to determine its destiny and the US no longer will be allowed to tell Israel what to do, because we are AMERICA FIRST.
And now Israel gets to be Israel First.
Israel will no longer need to answer to the world, and the US will no longer need to play mediator.

The list of countries we shouldn’t give aid to is long. Israel is far down it.
If we had butted out of the war, Hamas would have been destroyed two years ago.
Ukraine needs to be at the top of the list.
I can see giving aid to a foreign country that had some horrible natural disaster but that would be about it.
If the Muslims lay down their arms there would be peace, if the US and Israel lay down their arms there would be no US or Israel. The US and Israel are connected at the hip now and for the foreseeable future. LL is wrong on this.

Many FReepers view the Russia-Ukraine war as a good vs evil thing. They have differing views on who’s good and evil.
But, broadly, except for some extremists, NOBODY wants one penny from the US Treasury going to either cesspool of a country.
And the same is said for sending US soldiers to R-UK, and I’d also include sending any military equipment for free.
The same can - and should - be said for Israel and Hamas, AND Israel and Iran (though Israel is not a cesspool from what visitors have relayed to me).
Yes, Hamas is a terrorist organization and what they did is worthy of bone-crushing retaliation by Israel. And free the hostages.
The govt of Iran is equally repulsive.
Beyond that, as with Russia-Ukraine, I wish the innocent party Israel all the best. Go get ‘em.

As with Russia-Ukraine, people should feel free to Venmo as much as they want to Israel. They can even pay for a ticket to fly to Gaza or Jerusalem and help out.
But if people are consistent, they should not want any of our tax/borrowed money or soldiers or “free” bombs etc. going ANYWHERE outside of the USA.

The US should give far less.
Israel manages to offer free health care and free education to it’s citizens.
No reason for us to go into debt further to absolve them of paying for their defense.
And the disclosed figure does not include any black budget amounts.
Agreed on Ukraine to cut first—just because of simple math.

Nothing we're doing in the middle east makes us safer from Islamic terrorism.
There isn't a Muslim country in the world capable of successful attacking, let alone invading and conquering this country.
What would make us safer, however, would be ending Muslim immigration and deporting Muslim radicals along with continuing to secure our border.

All the newly-minted Carlsonistas chanting their new meme forget that the US derives very significant benefit from its relationship with Israel. The defensive developments Israel has created, Iron Dome and now Iron Beam, are shared with the US. These defensive (and who knows, eventually offensive) technologies would cost well into the 3.8 billion we provide Israel as a credit against US weapons “purchases”. As well as a level of intelligence that the US could never duplicate in terms of infiltration and penetration of the Islamist forces arrayed against US interest in the region. Also, Israel shares the advances it has made in the electronics package for the F-16I. Frankly, the US is getting a much better deal with Israel than it gets from any other aid recipient.
How much would the defense industry lose if we weren't bombing something in the middle east?
