If you voluntarily deport, leave, you still have the right to apply for legal entrance into the United States. It will take a while, and once here legally, you will not be deported.

The way this is being carried out is not a good look for republicans, and the messaging will hurt in the long run. Most people thought, and I’m talking about conservatives, Trump would go after the gangs and hardened criminals first, not the misdemeanor border jumpers. They’re seeing ICE parked in their communities, helicopters, detaining people at bowling alley’s, grocery stores, pulling landscapers off lawns, restaurants, etc. Many who have been here most or all their lives and have no home to go back to.
Yeah, you can say “send them all back, they shouldn’t be here”, many will and I’ll get flamed for this. But, people are seeing their friends, neighbors, people they go to church with, dealt with like they’re MS-13. Lack of empathy from the administration on down will suck the energy out of the effort, and stands the chance to blow back on other republicans in midterms and next presidential cycle. People will fatigue of this. Pendulums often over correct.
