Remember Marjorie Taylor Greene going off the rails during one of Biden's State of the Union addresses? Well, maybe her appearance on Bill Maher's show Friday night was super appropriate for Halloween, because it looks like that version is the ghost of the past.
MTG joined Bill on 'Real Time,' and she came off incredibly reasonable and not a party hack. She talked about splitting with Trump on a variety of issues, including releasing the Epstein files, healthcare, opening the government, and pouring money into foreign aid -- especially to Argentina -- while 42 million Americans don't know where they'll get their next meal.

After the Clinton government decided that there should be no checking on US government charity the percentage of people on food stamps suddenly doubled.

I get the impression MTG is not going to be a big factor with MAGA much longer. She has many areas of dissatisfaction with the President’s agenda here lately.

She was all great visiting the J6 prisoners back when. But— at that time (before the removal of McCarthy), she was well known to have a “relationship” with McCarthy. An opportunist, unrelated to true MAGA principles.

Not saying that MTG is right about single-payer per se, but she is smarter than most in the GOP to recognize the seriousness of the health-insurance crisis. I don’t hear a lot of ideas on health-insurance solutions from other GOP congress critters. Let’s face it. Obama’s ironically-named “Affordable Care Act” did more than anything in American history to destroy the affordability of health care.
Anyone who is in a position to have to pay for health insurance for themselves, their families or their companies knows how screwed we are... with typical premiums freakin’ 10x, 15x etc what they were pre-Obama. Nothing else in the economy has inflated at that insane pace in the last 17 years... not even college tuitions. The GOP needs to figure out how to fix the damned thing... fast. Because Obama broke it... and though the GOP has been in power twice since him, they haven’t succeeded in fixing it. When things are broken, any suggested solution, including one as odious as single-payer, starts to look more appealing than an unsustainable status quo.

Some of us have a tendency to get behind personalities too quickly; and then we wind up disappointed and feel betrayed when we’ve had time to scratch the surface.

Yep. Lizzy, Cryin’ Adam, Mitt Romney, John McCain, all basked in the phony love and adoration when they openly became anti-Trump. They got on all the shows, they were celebrated as “real Republicans” They thought it was all genuine. When in reality they are just as hated as Trump,is and the second the floor is gone like a chewed up wad of gum they are discarded like the cheap whores that they are.
