King Charles will be seen 'as never before' as he teams up with adventurer Steve Backshall for a new documentary.

In a new 90-minute ITV documentary, to be shown as part of the channel's Christmas schedule, the King will speak to Steve as the latter retraces the Royal's steps from his 1975 trip to the Canadian Arctic.

The monarch, 76, is set to discuss the 'devastating effects' of climate change during his appearance in the programme, which is titled Steve Backshall's Royal Arctic Challenge.

Steve's journey comes exactly 50 years after the King's expedition, which helped shape Charles's passion for protecting the environment and his belief in the importance of living in harmony with nature.

Charles travelled to the Canadian Arctic when he was aged just 26 and still the Prince of Wales. While there, he took part in dog sledging and diving under the Arctic ice with Canadian researchers.

The then-Prince also spent the trip learning about the local Inuit people's culture and dependence on the environment around them - even trying raw seal liver when it was offered to him.

Steve, 52, will look at the accelerating impact of climate change on the Arctic, which is warming three times faster than the rest of the world.

Marshall Corwin, who directed the documentary, added that it was 'eye opening' to see King Charles 'as never before', including the monarch's 'extreme spirit of adventure', 'genuine passion for the planet' and 'his mischievous sense of humour'.

He might want to deal with the Muslim invasion of his country.

What a stupid and pathetic man.

Charles has always impressed me as a very stupid man.

Partially Queen Elizabeth's fault for raising him like that.

He's probably unaware of what's happening beyond his estate.

Has there ever been a more limp wristed fag than Queen Charles. He even married Don Imus as his wife. Don’t expect to see too many masculine men following this perfumed monarch into battle unless they are Muslim men following him into a whore house.

This doesn’t surprise me in the least.

I was born in an American rust belt mill town, and I live there now. Industry has collapsed in this region. That put thousands of people out of work.

Many years ago a nearby town invited Charles to visit. He was the Prince of Wales at the time. The great man was asked to give his opinion on how to revitalize the area.

Charles showed up, and he surveyed the abandoned mill sites. Plant flower gardens, he said. That was it. Replace thousands of mill workers with maybe a dozen gardeners.

Charles was a fool back then.
And he is a fool now.

While British children are being groomed and raped. It’s ok, because his daddy plans to come back as a virus and wipe us out.

Stupid? No. Foolish, yes.

The Monarch is not supposed to get involved directly in political issues. If "Climate Change" is above politics, then a UK King should be able to have a special on the beauty of Marriage, or perhaps a fantastic look at the development of a preborn baby.

Charles has always impressed me as a very stupid man.“

I think even that is being charitable. The good news is if these European countries continue to buy into the climate BS it puts us in a huge competitive advantage.

Wake me up when Greenland becomes green again. Until then the Modern Warm Period hasn’t warmed the arctic as much as it was in prior warm periods. Keep in mind that Brits like to claim they love history more than Americans do.

The bill has come due to pay back for all the decades of Queen Elizabeth II, the best person to ever come from the house of Hanover. The royals are reverting to normal. Perhaps King William will be easier on the brain.

I wouldn't say that. She did raise Charles to become the future King.

Perhaps King William will be easier on the brain.

He's woke.

“… Charles has always impressed me as a very stupid man...”

I was stationed at RAFB Alconbury 1973-75. We referred to him as Princess Charles back then.
