Abigail Spanberger, former member of Congress and candidate for governor of Virginia, has kept rather quiet about her career in the Central Intelligence Agency. As people should know, that could have something to do with her mixed signals on trans ideology. Last month, reporters asked Spanberger if she supported “transgender women” playing in female sports and using female restrooms. The Democrat replied:
So in Virginia, until very recently we have had a process in place where on an individual, one-by-one basis, schools, principals, parents, coaches were making decisions based on fairness, competitiveness and safety, where a child might be able or might not be able to play in a particular sport.
When reporters pressed the case, Spanberger said, “I would support a bill that would put clear provisions in place that provide a lot of local ability for input, based on the age of children, based on the type of sport, based on competitiveness.” And so on—a classic nonanswer.
Opponents have cited Spanberger’s vote against the Protection of Women and Girls in Sports Act, which restricted “transgender women” and girls from competing in female sports categories. The Virginia Democrat also supported the Equality Act, which sought to make gender identity and sexual orientation a protected class. On that theme, Rep. Spanberger had plenty of company, but her zeal for trans ideology may flow from a different source.
“One CIA demographic group that my deputies and I felt especially privileged to support was the LBGTQ community,” former CIA director John Brennan wrote in Undaunted: My Fight Against America’s Enemies, at Home and Abroad. In reality, there is no such “demographic group” because there is no LBGTQ “community.” As Bruce Bawer has often noted, homosexuality and transgenderism are...

Barry Soetoros and Sandy Cortez have stuck their noses in other races across the country, including the Prop 50 effort here in Commiefornia.
Have they, or any demonicRAT for that matter, endorsed the black woman in this race?
Not a BIPOC so........
Is she the one who was asked how she acquired $7 million in congress and said she didn’t know?
She gathered information for the CIA somewhere in Europe on “nuclear proliferation and terrorism”, in her own words, fields in which she had no expertise. She worked for the CIA for only eight years. No reason has been given for why she left. I suspect she was fired for being particularly bad at her job, because her next job was with a firm that told educational institutions how to get grant money.
She’s a DEI hire and a fraud, but will likely win next week.
Abigail seems especially unimpressive and I hope she loses - what a drip, even for a lefty woman.
No that’s Sherill in NJ.
I think her next job was teaching at the Islamic School on Northern VA about 20 years ago. Then she ran for Congress.
I get that people like to over simplify complex issues.
But what is so difficult to understand with XX and XY?
There are two (2) sexes, that’s it.
It is near entirely binary.
Those that are XYY only account for 1:1,000 births, .001%, a rare exception.
I couldn’t agree more.
No, she taught at the Saudi Academy as a substitute English teacher just after she got her MBA. Her dad got her a job as a postal inspector “finding child predators and scam artists”, although she had no training in investigations. She only worked there for a few years before she got hired by the CIA.
I think it’s an Islamic school but either way her resume reads like Deep State asset.
I think she’ll be teaming up with “All Zohran” in the near future.
