Eric Adams endorses Andrew Cuomo for City Hall — slams front-runner Zohran Mamdani as ‘snake oil salesman’

Mayor Eric Adams on Thursday backed Andrew Cuomo’s campaign for City Hall, embracing his one-time bitter rival as “a brother” while slamming socialist front-runner Zohran Mamdani as a “snake oil salesman.”

Hizzoner, who just three weeks ago ripped Cuomo as “a snake and a liar,” dapped up the former governor while delivering a full-throated endorsement of his independent bid for mayor — and issued a dire warning to Big Apple voters.

“This is the future of New York City at stake,” Adams told reporters while hitting the campaign trail with Cuomo as part of a concerted, last-minute effort to hamper Mamdani’s ascendance.

“If you don’t respect law and order and the police, you’re going to see crime go up. You see crime go up, you’re going to see people in this community suffer,” he said from NYCHA’s Johnson Houses in East Harlem.

This is a very important development.
Now both of Adam’s supporters will go to Cuomo.

It just means Mamdani supporters will buy “Snake Oil” T -Shirts.

The socialists in NYC will get the goodies and the taxpayers who did not vote for him will pay for them. And get insulted.

Revolt, my friends.

This is what Adams in endorsing:

Andrew Cuomo closed psychiatric centers, closed at least a dozen state prisons and released convicts that hadn't completed their court-ordered sentences onto the street. Cuomo proudly and publicly said "America was never great." He destroyed the state's economy by wasting billions in taxpayer dollars on construction projects in Syracuse, Utica and Buffalo, built factories and buildings for business deals that went bust, and never got off the ground, while his top aides and wealthy friends went to prison for corruption. He's the Governor who gave illegals driver's licenses, who murdered thousands of senior citizens during the Scamdemic, who forced all health care workers in hospitals and long-term care homes in the State to get Covid jabs...and forced schools to close during that time too.

In truth, neither of them is worth the support or approval from our side. No Republican, even President Trump should be rooting for either of these guys, especially Cuomo, given his murder record. New York City is screwed no matter which one gets in office. How any Conservative Republican can make excuses for his actions during Covid, and hope that he wins, is beyond me. When you vote for the lesser of two evils, you still end up with evil. New York City will get exactly what it deserves.

"Doesn’t compare with the destruction Mamdammit wouldl wreak."

So the guy who already wreaked havoc on New York State, controlled the State with Nazi tactics during Covid, murdered thousands of senior citizens, and would do so again in a heartbeat, is preferable? Why are Republicans even taking sides in this. It makes those who claim Cuomo is better, when he is no such thing, sound delusional at best, mentally ill at the worst. It's like having a choice between Hitler and Stalin, and saying one is preferable over the other.

Neither deserved to even run for the office, let along end up winning the election. The NY State Republican Committee that is supposed to work hard to find viable candidates to run for the offices of Mayor, Governor, and U.S. Senators, have been sorely lacking and MIA for years now. The last Republican U.S. Senator from New York was Al D'Amato, and he got tossed out of office by Chuck Schumer in 1999. How much longer are New York Republican voters going to stand for it?

Adams had the best chance to beat Mamdani. He’s also most to the right, including Sliwa.

At press time, Adams announced that a DNA analysis of the snake oil Mamdami was selling has established that none of it came from Cuomo.

"Trump said Cuomo is better than DeSantis."

I'm not crazy about DeSantis, but I wouldn't pick Cuomo over him. I made a vow to myself after George W. Bush, McCain and Romney being the Presidential nominees, that I'd never hold my nose to vote for a Rino ever again, even if Jesus was his running mate. I'd sit home that Election Day.

Hobson’s Choice: A free choice in which only one option is offered; i.e., “take it or leave it”. Morton’s Fork: Is a choice between two equally unpleasant alternatives (in other words, a dilemma) or two lines of reasoning that lead to the same unpleasant conclusion.

Stick a fork in it, Morton; NYC is doomed.

Actually, I'll prefer Adams. But I do not get to vote.

aThe perception among New Yorkers is that Adams is corrupt.
