Well Justice has a business philosophy of never paying anybody until they sue you.

R. Sort of ... he aligns with whichever party is convenient. At the moment, that's "R". When he first ran for Governor, he was a "D". As a matter of political philosophy, he's a huge improvement over Joe Manchin, but that doesn't mean he's not a jerk.

Surely, he could pay the backtaxes easily, with a little blackjack. Being a ‘Rat, he’d have similar luck to Gov Pritzker.

Sure. But think about the income Justice made to generate those tax bills.
Why didn’t Justice pay taxes?

Why did it take so long to file IRS liens? Stupid question, I know!
To: MortMan; Liz
Justice is a relatively new Senator, West Virginia. Not surprisely as a target for an IRS “persecution by the Deep State” he is a repubbie.
To: Veto!
A Republican tax evader. Who knew? He switched from Dim to Republican while WV governor in August 2017. Perhaps with Trump in the WH, Jim might have thought it'd help him evade prosecution for the $8 million in back taxes (most of which occurred before he switched to Rep).
