Israel says Hamas violated ceasefire with 'multiple attacks' leading to IDF response

`The Israeli military conducted strikes against Hamas in Gaza after accusing the terrorist organization of repeatedly violating its ceasefire agreement on Sunday.

An Israeli military official confirmed the strikes to Fox News on Sunday, pointing to attacks by Hamas since Friday. The official says the attacks on Israeli forces all took place beyond the line behind which Israel had withdrawn under the terms of the agreement.

"The terror organization Hamas carried out multiple attacks against Israeli forces beyond the yellow line. The attacks included an RPG shot at a military force, and a sniper fire against a military force," the official told Fox News in a statement.

"Both of the incidents happened in an Israeli-controlled area, east to the yellow line. This is a bold violation of the ceasefire," the official added.

IDF: Earlier today, terrorists fired anti-tank missiles and opened fire at IDF forces operating to destroy terror infrastructures in the Rafah area in accordance with the terms of the agreement. The IDF began airstrikes by Air Force fighter jets and artillery fire in the Rafah area to remove the threat, destroying several operational tunnels and military buildings where terrorist activity was identified. This is a blatant violation of the ceasefire agreement; the IDF will respond with force.

destroying several operational tunnels and military buildings

There's any of that still standing?

In the Middle East, “ceasefires” are meant to mean that Hamas fires, and Israel ceases.

It’s not good to make Trump look bad.

Now the left has something to put on him-fail.

Well that lasted a couple of days longer than I thought it would. No doubt the dems and their lackeys in the press will accuse Israel of violating the peace agreement, followed by “it's all Trump's fault.”

Trump got the hostages released. That’s a great accomplishment. Whether he can stop the 3000 year old war between Isaac and Ishmael, that’s a different story.

Israel can act much freer now that the live hostages have all been returned. The Paleos got about 1200 of their own back from Israeli prisons. Some were serious terrorists with life sentences.

it appears Kushner/Witkoff victory lap on “60 Minutes” was ill-advised. thank goodness living hostages are home but the torturous dribbling out of the dead and now brazen attacks on IDF and statements of Hamas’ intentions not to disarm are the expected red flags. also there are signs of Iran’s re-arming.

Recently there was plenty of hoopla regarding the peace deal between Israel and Hamas, like it was such a golden deal that it would last forever. And every one in the middle east could just around the campfire singing Kumbaya eating milk and cookies.

Anyone that’s ever paid serious attention to Islamic warfare knew better. And this article is proof. They are no different than communists. A ceasefire is no more than a resting period to rearm, rest and figure out new strategies.

Ishmael is a beast, with an appetite for death & destruction. All the Jews (Isaac) ever wanted is to be left alone.

Peace could have happened many times but the bottom line that the entire West buys is that the Arabs, PALEOstinians and Ishmaelites do not want peace at all.

The Islamic-Arabs are the most talented people in the world for either killing or being killed, they love it!

I think it was some time after September 11th when an Arab terrorist said. We worship death but you in the West worship life.

The hostages are out, the “Response” should be killing every living thing in Gaza.

Re: "It's not good to make Trump look bad."

Trump looked like a political and military moron the moment he signed the Cease Fire Agreement with Hamas.

Trump is also 100% responsible for the dozens of anti-Hamas residents who were murdered after Israel withdrew their troops from various parts of Gaza - per the Trump Peace Treaty.

Finally, Trump still has not told us how much USA tax money has been - or will be - distributed to the Hamas criminal and terror organization for signing the Cease Fire.

What has happened is that the bifurcation of Hamas is clearly exposed.

Those who are still making war eschew the policies of their peace making brethren. It was true of the Taliban and is true of Hamas.

I think we know the answer to that one.

The sooner this country can separate itself from either one of two unbaptized tribes fighting an Old Testament conflict, the better.

hardly. he got the hostages out - a major feat and he got a major Arab buy-in to steps to make Gaza, the region, more stable, peaceful. but his remarks about “eternal” peace and derision of Bibi’s realism about Phase 2 as unhelpful “negativity” were ill-advised. we’ll see how Israel and the
world now respond to Hamas’ refusal to disarm.this is a critical test.

Yes, I wonder if anyone considered the ramifications of this.

Re: "Hardly. Trump got the hostages out - a major feat."

I disagree.

Trump willingly traded the lives of several dozen anti-Hamas Gaza residents for 20 Israeli hostages.

We also have no idea how much USA tax money Trump paid Hamas for the 20 Israelis.

By the way - Hamas originally had 251 Israeli hostages. They murdered about 90 of them.

In addition, Hamas slaughtered 364 un-armed Israeli citizens (and gravely wounded dozens more) at a Music Festival three miles from Gaza.

Only a complete moron would sit down and negotiate a Cease Fire with animals like that.

“ Trump looked like a political and military moron the moment he signed the Cease Fire Agreement with Hamas.”

No, he didn’t. If you read through the agreement, he takes into account that Hamas might not cooperate. If that happens, he agreed to the use of force to disarm and kill Hamas. In any case, Hamas will have no role in the governing of Gaza.
Pres. Trump is no more responsible for Hamas killing others than you or Taylor Swift is.
Except for humanitarian aid to all the residents of Gaza, there has been no US money given to Hamas by this President.

Criticizing the agreement is one thing, but making up stuff in order to do so is just silly.
