The NGO’s are absolutely pillaging grant money for the homeless. Pick an NGO and check out their IRS form 990. They’re required to disclose the form and it reveals the salary of every employee who draws pay. The number of employees getting six figure salaries will blow you away. One stunning exception is Tunnels to Towers. Another is the Salvation Army. It’s eye opening.
