Diane von Furstenberg’s marriage hasn’t changed after her long-time husband, Barry Diller, came out as gay. The fashion designer broke her silence on her husband’s recent admission that he is part of the LGBTQIA+ community in an interview with Variety published Thursday. When asked what it means to be “a woman married to a man who’s gay,” von Furstenberg replied, “What’s the difference?”
“I don’t understand,” she added. The outlet explained that many women “wouldn’t want” to be married to a gay man and pressed her for more information. “But it doesn’t change anything. I’m sorry — it’s a stupid question,” she replied, adding, “I married two gay men, OK? I don’t know why, but to me, they’re not gay, so it doesn’t make any difference. ”

“While there have been a good many men in my life, there has only ever been one woman, and she didn’t come into my life until I was 33 years old,” he wrote in an essay for New York Magazine titled, “The truth about us, after all these years.” He continued, “I have never questioned my sexuality’s basic authority over my life (I was only afraid of the reaction of others).”

Even if you straight, I don't think letting your sexuality have basic authority over your life is a good thing. Even Maslow established his hierarchy in a certain way.
Translation: She's an old woman disinterested in sex now so the husband being gay doesn't matter in the slightest.

Women love it when men find their bodies and sexuality repulsive and have never found them sexually attractive and prefer crude simulated sex with other men, the husband’s adultery and promiscuity outside of marriage must be a bonus.
He’s not “gay”. He’s a mentally ill old man and she’s a mentally ill old woman.

Maybe it’s just me, but I don’t really care to hear the details of the degenerate lives of people I don’t know—never even heard of, will never meet, have zero affect on my life. It’s sufficiently bad to know that such a thing exists, which you’d have to be living under a rock not to know.
It sounds like this has been going on the since the 80’s,or even late 70’s, so I’m not sure that “old card” is to blame.

Now, there is a name I haven’t heard in a while.
I had a patient that I worked with who was in his 70’s. He was married over fifty years when he told his wife he wanted a divorce as he was now gay.
Men tend to become more feminine and women more masculine as they get older. It’s natural.
Deciding they are gay at that age is not normal.
Travolta I could see as being bi. His dating history started out messed up, first dating a woman 18 years his senior, the woman who played his mom in "The Boy in the Plastic Bubble". He was dating Marilu Henner in her prime for a number of years, so he sure as hell can't be completely gay.
Kelly Preston? I've never heard anything dyke-y about her.
