Illinois Gov. JB Pritzker Vows to IMPRISON ICE Agents

MULTIPLE VIDEOS AT LINK........................

JB Pritzker is at it again, attempting to rile up his base by threatening the Trump Administration.

The Illinois Governor is now threatening to throw ICE and other federal agents in PRISON.

Tell me you want to run for President as a Democrat without telling me you want to run for President as a Democrat.

Pritzker made the comments during an interview this week in which he trashed ICE, CBP, and the Trump Administration in general.

He said in no uncertain terms that he has a group of state attorneys working on how to PROSECUTE federal agents for unspecified crimes.

Even the Illinois Attorney General is apparently devoting time and resources on Pritzker’s plan to go after federal agents, according to the Governor’s own account.

Here’s one clip — I have several to share — from his shocking interview in which he promises that “the tables will turn someday” on federal agents attempting to clean up cities in his own state.

This was shared by the Department of Homeland Security on X… along with a pertinent crime stat:

Would that qualify as an intimidation tactic with intent to threaten or retaliate against a federal law enforcement official in a way that would impede that official from doing his job?

That’s a question for the lawyers, but I would hope it’s at the top of a notepad during internal DOJ discussions!

President Trump’s ‘Rapid Response’ account on X shared a slightly longer version of that clip.

I’ll embed that full screen version here for backup — but also so that you can hear what Pritzker says just before he reveals his plan to prosecute those federal agents:

First, he insinuates that the Trump Administration is sitting back on it’s heels while an army of federal law enforcement runs lawlessly across the Illinois countryside, pillaging and burning villages in its’ wake.

And then he makes one simple, short statement just before the big reveal: “We will.”

That’s not a ‘maybe’ statement; that phrasing denotes firm commitment.

He could be talking big… what with those obvious future Presidential plans in play.

That’s the take of the Vice President, who said exactly that just one day after Pritzker revealed he wanted to throw ICE Agents in jail:

But is Pritzker all talk?

Or could there be some of that infamous Democratic weaponization of the justice system being cooked up in the Illinois AG office?

That’s the take of the very Fox News station in Chicago that conducted the interview.

Their own story suggested that investigations into federal agents, seeking avenues of prosecution, might already be underway — as reported by the local Fox News affiliate in Chicago which conducted the interview:

Governor Pritzker says recent cell phone video of ICE interactions underscores his claim that the agency is acting illegally with the intent to cause mayhem in Chicago.

“The tables will turn one day,” Prtizker said. “These people should recognize that maybe they’re not gonna get prosecuted today, although we’re looking at doing that, but they may get prosecuted after the Trump administration because the statute of limitations would not have run out..”

Pritzker insinuates that the Illinois Attorney General and local state’s attorneys might be investigating some of DHS’ purported wrongdoing.

Pritzker has kept up a steady blitz of national media appearances — carving out a role as Trump’s opposition, famously telling the president, “Come and get me” after the president tweeted he and Mayor Johnson should be in jail. Pritzker says Trump has nothing to base it on.

“So this is a dangerous time,” Pritzker said. “The President of the United States is causing mayhem in the grounds of our state. He is going after his political opponents. I don’t know why anybody would look at the situation and not recognize he’s moving toward an authoritarian regime in his own image.”

Pritzker has also drawn the ire of Customs and Border Patrol Commander Gregory Bovino. Bovino says Pritzker is contributing to an elevated threat environment against federal agents, calling them things like “jack-booted thugs,” but Pritzker says — if the shoe fits.

For someone who refers to federal agents as ‘jack-booted thugs’… Pritzker certainly has a lot of audacity claiming that it’s the Trump Administration creating a ‘dangerous time’.

But I want you to listen to this next clip from YouTube uploaded by that same Fox News affiliate that did the interview.

This is wild. Here’s that clip, which slightly overlaps with where the previous clip left off… and I have two things I want to point out on the flip side:

Did you notice how he subtly slipped in that ICE and CBP was DOING IT’S JOB under the Biden Administration?

Forgive me if I’m presuming too much.

But I thought we were past the point of allowing BALD FACE LIES from the Democratic Party to go unchecked any longer?

Yeah — I’m going with that: Bald-faced lie.

But there was another thing he casually mentioned towards the end of that clip.

He flat out said he’s trying to find a way to go after federal agents at the state level.

In reality, that’s the only serious road bump that might keep him from doing it. And he just announced that he’s TRYING to find a way around that technicality.

The days of the Obama and Biden weaponization of the justice system might be behind us…

But maybe we need to be on the lookout for PRITZKER’S version of all that?

The Trump Administration seems to be taking the threat seriously, with several ranking personalities in the Administration coming out swinging following the Governor’s latest interview.

His statements are likely to increase the possibility of domestic terror attacks against law enforcement — that’s according to the DHS Assistant Secretary as quoted in this report by Newsweek:

Pritzker, who is widely seen as a potential candidate for the 2028 Democratic presidential nomination, has taken an increasingly assertive stance toward the Trump administration and its immigration enforcement agencies.

“We’re talking to the state’s attorneys and Attorney General to see how they can go at this because what we want to make sure is that they follow the law,” he said.

Chicago has emerged as a flashpoint in the national debate over immigration enforcement amid the Trump administration’s Operation Midway Blitz, which has intensified ICE activity across the city, particularly in immigrant neighborhoods.

Federal officials maintain they are necessary to uphold immigration laws and detain offenders.

“Governor Pritzker threatening to prosecute law enforcement for enforcing the law and arresting murderers, pedophiles, rapists, drug traffickers, and gang members is disgusting. He’s smeared our law enforcement calling them thugs, but to millions of Americans—including those victimized by criminal illegal aliens—they are heroes,” DHS Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin told Newsweek. She added: “His conduct is directly contributing to domestic terrorists attacking our brave law enforcement. He is going to get someone killed with this trash.” (Emphasis added.)

McLaughlin isn’t the only Trump Administration official striking back at Pritzker’s accusations.

His own state’s representative to the US House, Mary Miller (R) pushed back calling a spade a spade:

That was my first question as well.

Isn’t Pritzker simply engaging in Chicago-style intimidation tactics?

And then US Attorney General Pam Bondi went on with Hannity on Fox News yesterday, completely ripping into the Illinois Governor:

If I had time and money, I would print up an entire batch of t-shirts to sell with Bondi’s last statement from that clip.

“Pritzker’s Lost His Mind.”

Maybe P.L.H.M. emblazoned boldly on the back, with the full statement in smaller script on the front?

I feel like that might be an awesome conversation starter — but I digress. I may not get my t-shirt business idea off the ground, but if I were a betting man…

I’d put money on J.B. Pritzker being fully committed to a 2028 presidential campaign.

Has he really lost his mind?

Or is he simply crazy like a FOX, understanding that the only way he’s going to have a shot at the White House is to rally the far left base enough against President Trump and hope that something sticks?

Don’t underestimate him, folks. He has deep pockets, ambition, and he has solidly positioned himself against the one person that the left hates more than anyone else.

And that’s President Donald J. Trump.

No, this isn’t a lefty losing his mind; though his arguments are completely insane.

This is arguably the most radical, corrupt, and LIKELY candidate to catch a swinging pendulum several years down the line… if it does happen to swing the other way.

I’m not saying that will happen. I hope and pray it does NOT!

But God help us if we get complacent — and then have to watch that political pendulum swing ole’ Pritzker right into the Oval Office.

This isn’t about current crime statistics or law and order for him…

It’s about positioning himself as the anti-Trump candidate with the White House in mind.

And who knows how ‘crazy’ someone with that mindset might get before all is said and done?

Someone like that might even throw an ICE Agent or two in jail… just to be able to say he did what he said he’d do… on the campaign trail.

Anyone ever hear of “Obstruction of Justice”?

We need to use this terminology every time we see this type of BS.

I think we already passed that requirement for the Insurrection act, and are waiting for a Presidential proclamation to disperse. Really it seems like they WANT to provoke the President to invoke the Insurrection Act. Not a legal person, just using GROK's evaluation of the Constitution, Law of War and other official legal documents to get an idea 'where we are' in the the framework of Insurrection Act. Written into the law is the expectation that the President would be slow, hesitant to invoke it and only resort to it after patience and alternate attempts to resolve issues. I think we're past that, waiting for a Proclamation to disperse from POTUS.

Doubt Pritzker would be able to find Illinois cops who would be willing to execute an arrest warrant on armed ICE agents who would resist people trying to obstuct justice.

So let me get this straight. We have enacted, through the democratic process a series of laws that are designed to curb illegal immigration and firm up the border. We have a president, who was democratically elected, and who is charged with the enforcement of these enacted immigration laws. The laws as far as I can determine, were deemed to be constitutional. And yet, Governor JB Pritzker, who I guess does not like these democratically enacted laws, so he is unilaterally going to circumvent their enforcement and go after members of the agency whose job it is to enforce these laws.

But Trump is a dictator?

Google AI Overview

The Insurrection Act has been invoked approximately 30 times since its passage in 1807. It was most recently used in 1992 by President George H. W. Bush in response to the Los Angeles riots.

Notable past invocations of the act include:

Early 19th Century: President Thomas Jefferson first invoked the act in 1808 to enforce trade embargos, and Andrew Jackson used it in 1831 during Nat Turner’s Rebellion.

Civil War and Reconstruction Era: Abraham Lincoln invoked the act at the start of the Civil War in 1861, and Ulysses S. Grant used it multiple times in the 1870s to combat the Ku Klux Klan and other white supremacist violence.

20th Century: The act was invoked during the Civil Rights era to enforce desegregation orders in the South, including by Dwight D. Eisenhower in 1957 in Little Rock, Arkansas, and by John F. Kennedy in 1962 and 1963. Lyndon B. Johnson used it multiple times in the 1960s, including during the 1967 Detroit riots.

Not only Obstruction of Justice but this clown also needs to take a look at the Supremacy Clause of the US Constitution. States have no authority to interfere in the internal operations of the federal govt.

Google AI deeper dive

The Insurrection Act has been invoked more than 30 times in U.S. history, most recently in 1992. The law has been used by various presidents to respond to a range of crises, including rebellions, labor disputes, and efforts to suppress civil rights.

Notable historical uses of the Insurrection Act

Civil War (1861): President Abraham Lincoln invoked the Act at the start of the war to call up state militias to suppress the rebellion of seceding Southern states.

Reconstruction (1870s): President Ulysses S. Grant used the Act multiple times to combat Ku Klux Klan violence and white supremacist paramilitary groups in the South.

Labor Disputes (1894): President Grover Cleveland sent federal troops to break the Pullman railway strike in Chicago and other areas.

Civil Rights Movement (1950s and 1960s): The Act was invoked by multiple presidents to enforce federal desegregation orders and protect civil rights protesters, often against the wishes of state governors.

1957: President Dwight D. Eisenhower deployed the 101st Airborne to Little Rock, Arkansas, to protect Black students integrating a high school.

1962 & 1963: President John F. Kennedy used the Act to enforce desegregation at the University of Mississippi and the University of Alabama.

1965: President Lyndon B. Johnson federalized the Alabama National Guard to protect marchers during the Selma to Montgomery marches.

Los Angeles Riots (1992): President George H. W. Bush deployed federal troops to quell rioting in Los Angeles following the acquittal of police officers in the beating of Rodney King. This was the most recent time the Insurrection Act was formally invoked.
