Smith, who resigned from the Justice Department in January shortly before Trump returned to office as president, warned that attacks on public servants would have an “incalculable” cost on the country.
“I think the attacks on public servants, particularly nonpartisan public servants — I think it has a cost for our country that is incalculable, and I think that we — it’s hard to communicate to folks how much that is going to cost us,” Smith said in an interview last week with former federal prosecutor Andrew Weissman at University College London Faculty of Laws, where Weissman is a visiting professor.

Gee Jack, "U.S. District Judge Aileen Cannon, a Trump nominee, dismissed the classified documents case on the grounds that Smith's appointment was illegal." wouldn't that mean you were not a public servant?
The hypocrisy of these lawfare coup-plotters whining about “attacks on public servants” is simply stunning.
“Attacks”........ Hey jak.....🖕
Weissman. Visiting professor.
HAHAHAHAHAHA!
Guess ya shouldnt have tried to imprison and ruin the life of president trump then huh jackie boy? YOU start3d this ball rolling, dont be an alec baldwin and blame everyone else for what you did!
I searched and that did not shown up. Sorry if double post.
Biden’s efforts to have Trump imprisoned or killed when Trump was the Presidential nominee of the other party when Biden was running for re-election—that wasn’t damaging to the country?
He’s a sicko
2 bit punk.
The term ‘public servant’ is misleading. Persons working for the government are collecting a paycheck for doing a job. You’re not special because you work for the government, you’re simply a public
Anyone working in government that is not collecting a paycheck is volunteering, doing so of their own free will and choice. It doesn’t entitle sainthood or bowed heads in reverence.
Second, the term ‘public servant’ implies a noble rank over other government jobs. I’ll argue that Jim (my USPS mailman) is providing the public more value as a government employee than most of the U.S. Congress, and yet those idiots are supposed to be considered special? Disagree, they’re simply government employees.
“..... it’s hard to communicate to folks how much that is going to cost us,” Smith said”
When he says “us” he is talking about the cost to those who were involved in the activity to derail POTUS Trump. Jack Smith is the poster boy for a prosecutor who loves to break the law!! Weissman is just a trouble maker due to his genetics.
Hey Smith!
You don’t know JACK.
Smith is like New Yawk’s Latitia McEvil the shyster lawyer. He needs to be in prison.
He knows he’s next.
Watch out for the mods. 😂👍
There is no such thing as “nonpartisan “.
‘
‘’ think the attacks on public servants, particularly nonpartisan public servants ”
Well ya know Trump wasn’t a public servant of course, he just likes getting shot.
