As Californians start voting on Democrats’ effort to boost their ranks in Congress, former President Obama warned that democracy is in peril as he urged voters to support Proposition 50 in a television ad that started airing Tuesday.
“California, the whole nation is counting on you,” Obama says in the 30-second ad, which the main pro-Proposition 50 campaign began broadcasting Tuesday across the state. “Democracy is on the ballot Nov. 4.”
The spot is part of a multimillion-dollar ad buy promoting the congressional redistricting ballot measure through the election.
Proposition 50 was spearheaded by Gov. Gavin Newsom and other California Democratic leaders this summer after President Trump urged GOP-led states, notably Texas, to redraw their congressional districts to boost the number of Republicans elected to the House in next year’s midterm election, in an effort to continue enacting his agenda during his final years in office.
“Republicans want to steal enough seats in Congress to rig the next election and wield unchecked power for two more years,” Obama says in the ad, which includes footage of ICE raids. “With Prop. 50, you can stop Republicans in their tracks. Prop. 50 puts our elections back on a level playing field, preserves independent redistricting over the long term, and lets the people decide. Return your ballot today.”

What a dumbass.
I don’t do videos, not tiktok or youtube or anything but I really want to do a video about this one. The Yes on 50 campaign is all slime. It is Democrats to a tee, running California propositions as part of the national party. Their ads are lies, their opposition ads to the No on 50 campaign are lies.
Unfortunately all the public unions have been instructed how to vote.
Besides, demonicRATS don’t need more representation because so many of their ass wipers have deported themselves.
Guys, if CA is so lefty, then why does Deep State have to steal its elections...? 🤔
The only way to save democracy is to make representation even less proportional to the voters’ desires. Ultimate democracy is a unanimous legislature without the need of voters’ consent.
When Obamalamadingdong is upset and angel gets their wings.
Tell me what on earth people in Riverside have in common with the people on Balboa Island that they should share a congressional district.
What he means is a commie scam to take away the few gop districts we have left in this rathole of a state
Even with the gains Trump made…

…California's current congressional delegation in the 119th Congress consists of its two senators, both of whom are Democrats, and its 52 representatives: 43 Democrats and 9 Republicans.
Whatcha mean, exactly? The “deep state” is too broad a term. If you include all the teachers unions and state and federal work force you already have a couple of millions of votes locked in. That’s part of the steal.
Always remember it is not stupidity or ignorance, it is much worse.
We can only hope for massive GOP turnout and low Dem turnout. This is one issue which SHOULD get out the GOP vote. Not sure it will. But because it’s statewide, every vote from every corner matters.
Every so often, Obama comes down from on high to make pronouncements. Then, he ascends to his mansions and tries to find a chef who will stay.
Coastal filth.

There is an “AOC” version of the TV ad too...chock full of lies too. Not going to look for a link to the video...got fully disgusted when I saw the ad on one of my streaming services.
Obama is worried it will lose!
The rats have welded the door shut for Ca elections. Big turnout, small turnout doesn’t matter. Stalin had it right. The rats count the votes.
