WASHINGTON — Vice President JD Vance indicated in an interview on NBC News’ “Meet the Press” on Sunday that President Donald Trump was not opposed to invoking the Insurrection Act.
Asked by moderator Kristen Welker whether the White House was seriously considering invoking the 1807 statute, Vance said, “The president is looking at all his options.”

Trump is a ponderer. He puts out thoughts to see what opinions fly. It’s helpful in making decisions.
Blocking federal agents for enforcing the law is insurrection. Let’s stop playing games. Use the act. Hold them accountable.
I do believe that the “general public” is inquiring of the Commander-in-Chief that, if he invokes the Insurrection Act, is that available for a specific locality OR will it be nationwide?
My understanding is that the ‘invocation’ can be VERY localized while still allowing the expansion of insurrection activities to a wider vista.
I think THE MEDIA and the LEFTIES have incited people (normies) to think that, once the Insurrection Act is invoked, martial law is declared across the entire nation.

MMM…🤔🤔 in 2016 when Trump was President the Libs did everything to get him impeached on lies, TWICE! Out of office they made up criminal and civil charges, arrested him, dragged him through multiple courts around the country at the same time to prevent his election. Then, THEN they try assassinating him TWICE! Now they wonder why he is thinking all the riots around the country are a form of insurrection? 🧐🧐🧐
Include every obstructionist judge, DA, mayor and governor in the arrest and prosecution list. Every state legislator that voted for an illegal state or local law that violates the federal supremacy clause should also be considered as insurrectionists.

Governor Prisker said he would start arresting ICE officers.
If he does, I expect President Trump to invoke the Insurrection Act and then go further and arrest and indict Prisker as well.
As he should. It is one thing to not cooperate with the arrest made by ICE, it is another thing to actively obstruct them or to withhold normal police and thus intentionally enabling hostile action by a crowd against ICE agents. That is insurrection and needs to be stopped and prosecuted.
I was in down town DC early this century when demonstrations were taking place. Antifa? (people masked and dressed in black) had recently set fire to A car. A while later I saw a group of about 20 men and women, nicely dressed, some in Camel hair winter coats, being herded into a corner by officers. The were carrying no signs and not doing anything violent or dangerous that I could see at a 1/2 block away distance. Apparently they were all arrested, and subsequently sued DC for wrongful imprisonment or some such violation. The group won a very large financial settlement, and since then DC govt. has been extremely careful about how they treat protesters.
