An Indiana man accused of stabbing a 69-year-old at a gas station has ignited outrage after records revealed a staggering criminal history – nearly 100 prior arrests – with little to show in the way of punishment.
Courtney Boose, 41, was arrested after the alleged gas-station stabbing, according to the Lawrence Police Department and Fox 59, which reported that Boose has been arrested 99 times over the years on charges ranging from theft and trespassing to battery.
Despite that record, court documents reviewed by Fox News Digital show he’s never served a day in state prison.
Boose’s long paper trail through Marion County courts paints a picture of a man repeatedly cycling through the system.
Public filings list dozens of convictions and dismissals spanning more than two decades, mostly low-level felonies and misdemeanors such as theft, criminal trespass, and panhandling. Even when convicted, Boose typically received short county-jail terms or time served.

Seems like there needs to be a cumulative points system.
The justice system needs to add a “demerit” or point-based system, in conjunction with standard criminal penalties. You receive one demerit for each year of the maximum sentence possible for your crime(s), and the demerits remain on your permanent record forever.
Once you hit 25 demerits you’re not allowed bail, and you must serve at least the minimum required sentence for your crime(s), no suspended sentences. Once you hit 50 you must serve the maximum required sentence, no suspensions. And once you hit 100 demerits, game over — non-violent criminals serve life, and violent criminals are put down. No exceptions.
Satan sure does prot3ct his own ... at least until he has no further use for them
There is a cumulative points system for speeding, bu5 apparebtly none for violent crimes and murder for some perps

ALL ACCORDING TO PLAN
That was probably the main inspiration for the demerits idea, and I’ve never understood why there isn’t one for criminals.
Oh, I know all about the traffic points system... I had a lead foot when I was young. I had to take the safe driving course to keep my license, but I definitely learned my lesson. I’ll be 60 next year, and have had only one speeding ticket in nearly 40 years — and that was over 25 years ago.
Has Democrat Barack Hussein Obama
claimed him as his son yet?
mostly low-level felonies and misdemeanors
Wonder when the notion of crime comes to mind in those parts.
three strikes laws would have taken him off the streets 97 crimes ago!
Yeah
Advertise HIS attorney!!!!
We need a 50 strikes and you’re out law !!!
Hmmmmp. I thought a felony was by definition not low-level.
In the good old days, there was no such thing as 100 arrests. After the 5th or 6th arrest, that usually meant 20 years to life.
An adult criminal who was treated by the judicial system like a spoiled child that never got spanked.
It makes perfect sense because Indiana has a 200-Strikes law on the books.
—Democrats put criminals almost immediately back on the street to commit crimes again.
It has been a long time since “three strikes and you’re out.”
