I’m sure KBJ is confused as to how she put her robe on.

Wow, Elena Kagan said that? If she’s on the right side of this issue (that the ban is unconstitutional), then it’s going down.

My advice to the headline writer would be the same FReepers give each other all the time: Try reading the article before replying or, in this case, writing the headline. The headline is incoherent and does not accurately characterize the article. “Wary of” would be accurate; “confused by” is not

And for the record, there's no such thing as an "LGBTQ child."
There are children. And then there are children who have been sexually abused or warped by homosexual pornography. Those are the only two categories.

Kagan might be wrong on many things, but she is usually very strong on free speech issues.
The Colorado law violates the US and Colorado constitutions by imposing a restriction on a counselors speech.

“Counseling is a medical-based practice,”
uh....NO! It is NOT!
Most homosexuals were molested as children. That is CHILD RAPE! This law bans RAPE therapy!

"Colorado’s solicitor general, said the state banned gender conversion therapy because studies have shown it’s unproven and unsafe. ... “That treatment doesn’t work and poses a risk of harm,” she said."Oh really?? How about, then, banning the practice of affirming gender transformations in children to begin with? Doubtless, there exists MUCH more evidence of the mental health issues this brings... never mind the ACTUAL harm involved."

open and shut case that should be 9-0 for freedom of speech

“But Shannon Stevenson, Colorado’s solicitor general, said the state banned gender conversion therapy because studies have shown it’s unproven and unsafe.”
You can be certain those conducting the studies had skin in the game and fudged the stats to reach the “correct” conclusion.

Gender-derangement indoctrination therapy good, gender-derangement conversion therapy bad.
To: E. Pluribus Unum
Colorado’s solicitor general, said the state banned gender conversion therapy because studies have shown it’s unproven and unsafe.
Well, I agree with the solicitor general—studies (and common sense) have shown trying to turn boys into girls and girls into boys is unproven and unsafe.
Oh wait, I bet he means that trying to talk people out of such insanity is the problem.

The Left believes someone can be man/boy trapped in a woman/girl body and support irreversible, mutilating “treatment” and surgeries to “change” them, but don’t believe someone who has desires / struggles they don’t want in their life to have treatment to potentially change that.
They are a walking contradiction that makes zero sense...on every issue.
To: Antoninus
Kagan normally has been on the side of religious liberty. Not always, but normally. She and Breyer both.
To: E. Pluribus Unum
“This is just a fundamentally different relationship,” she said. “No one has ever suggested that a doctor has a First Amendment right to say the wrong advice to their patient.” Define "wrong advice."

I’m sure KBJ is confused as to how she
is able to put food in her mouth and eat
Since she LIES like Son of Satan
Barack Hussein Obama and
about not being able to
define what a “WOMAN” is
