A mass shooting in downtown Montgomery on Saturday night left two people - including a teen - dead and a dozen others injured during what should have been a weekend of celebration in Alabama’s capital city.
The gunfire erupted shortly after 11:30 p.m. Saturday near Bibb Street and Commerce Street.
A total of 12 people were injured. Two people were killed - 17-year-old Jeremiah Morris and 43-year-old Shalonda Williams.
Two juveniles are among those wounded. One has life-threatening injuries, police said, and the other suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
In all, five victims remain in life-threatening condition, and seven sustained non-life-threatening injuries.

I will take a wild guess: somebody was "disrespected".
This happened just a few blocks from where my good friend works. She has concealed carry and I pity anyone that takes her on, but with that being said...there are a couple of places in Montgomey that she calls me and keeps me on the phone as a backup to call 911 if needed. That’s saying a lot about the situation in the town because there’s not much that scares that gal!

The saying used to be “Nothing good ever happens after midnight” but now we can move that back to 11:30 PM...
It’s really a tragedy what has gone on in our cities for decades and president Trump has been the only leader who gives a damn enough about it to try and clean it up.
(10d) Do not attend events likely to draw a lot of blacks.
(10e) If you are at some public event at which the number of blacks suddenly swells, leave as quickly as possible.
(10f) Do not settle in a district or municipality run by black politicians.
She doesn’t live there, she works there as do many folks from the areas surrounding Montgomery.
folks we have lost our culture and our country..here in Quebec,despite their government,they are happy and joyful..the narrow streets busy with many people..there was some kind of road race thru town and people were yelling support...
there is such history here...and people are proud.
here in our country we seemingly have endless bitterness,hatred,disrespect for America...we are so disjointed..
it does not help to have constant invaders,wimpy leaders and that very ugly 5% that cause so much chaos.
I notice here in Canada they seem to have fewer very obese people..at least in Quebec city,they don't seem to have homeless on every street corner.
I wish we would become a more vigorous people like Teddy Roosevelt talked about..
to do this I believe we have to get back to church,we must get physically fit,mentally strong..no drugs,no porn,faithful marriage.
we must start somewhere.
