The secretary of state's office told Maine's Total Coverage that these allegations are being investigated.

NEWBURGH, Maine — A woman in Newburgh said she ordered paper plates, rice and coffee from Amazon. When she opened the package, she said it looked like it had already been opened and retaped, so she expected those items to be damaged.
Instead, she said she found all the items she ordered as well as hundreds of bundled, blank Maine state ballots for the November election.
She said she called the Newburgh town office right away and handed the ballots over.
The woman who received the ballots asked to not be named or identified because she wants to stay out of the spotlight, but said she thought this was important for people to know about.
It's unclear where the ballots came from or if they are official state ballots.
“Safe and secure elections are my top priority. As soon as we became aware of allegations of ballots being received outside of the appropriate chain of custody, I immediately initiated an investigation through my Secretary of State’s law enforcement division. Law enforcement is working diligently to determine who is responsible, and they will be held accountable. We will not stop until we have answers," Secretary of State Shenna Bellows said in a statement.
This comes just weeks before Question 1, a voter ID citizens referendum, is expected to appear on the Maine ballot.
Republican leaders in the Maine Legislature said they have sent a letter to U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi and FBI Director Kash Patel requesting federal investigations into the incident.
"The discovery of hundreds of authentic state ballots in a private Amazon delivery is beyond alarming," Maine House Republican Leader Billy Bob Faulkingham said in a statement.
The Newburgh town clerk declined to comment.
As of Sept. 30 the Secretary of State's office says 19,352 ballots have been requested and 7,244 have been issued.
Doin’ the Blue State Election Shuffle! Woot! Woot!
There is NO VOTE FRAUD !
The correct headline should be “Maine authorities looking to suppress embarrassing evidence that got out that their elections are fraudulent”
Step 1: Tamp down fears by saying you are “investigating”
Maine should go back to being part of Massachusetts so they have only 2 senators instead of 4.
For every $10 spent you get a stack of ballots , do you get to pick which state you would like ? LOL
All marked for democrats and No on voter ID no doubt.
Just doing the election fraud Republicans refuse to do.
Same gal who thought she could remove Donald Trump from the ballot.
Meanwhile, Maine still has RCV and electronic voting machines.
Anyone else think the ballet stuffing is a red herring...?
...ballot stuffing...
Happens all the time in all elections. Until it’s all onchain and verifiable, RATS will continue to win national elections.
At least a method for election fraud has been exposed. Just how involved is Amazon in election fraud?
Investigating which of their minions screwed up and exposed the election interference.
I recommend the Democrats use a different delivery system.
Maybe UberEats or DoorDash.
Folks, asks yourselves why states that don’t use RCV have RCV-enabled electronic voting machines.
Jeepers...
...ask...
Aint that the truth! There’s a rotton cancer festering in Maine lately. I dont thi k this incident is proof of it, as the bzllots came from an amazon shipper location, likwly in another state but Maine has gone corrupt in their government for sure.
I justwish whistleblowers would sound the alarm and blow the corruption wide open. Maine is a beau5iful state thatthe left are ruining.
Oh, this would be a fun one to fully investigate.
Is there another person with the recipient’s name that’s a Dem operative?
Who is working at the regional Amazon facility that is delivering ballots to key activists?
What other items are being smuggled using the Amazon delivery system?
