The Biden administration refused to do it.
I was on the scene at the assault on the Adas Torah synagogue in Los Angeles by Islamists and leftists during which local authorities chose to do nothing. Just as they’d done nothing during the UCLA riots and the previous assault on a Holocaust museum screening an Oct 7 documentary. Afterwards there were high-profile condemnations, but no actions, and the perpetrators got a pass even though the FACE Act specifically criminalizes blocking access to houses of worship. The Biden admin, like most administrations, ignored the ‘houses of worship’ provision and focused only on using it to penalize pro-life protesters.
The Trump administration however is using the FACE Act to go after a similar synagogue riot in New Jersey.
Today, the Justice Department filed a civil complaint under the Freedom of Access to Clinic Entrances (FACE) Act against entities and individuals who targeted a synagogue in West Orange, New Jersey, during a November 2024 protest that escalated into violence.
The complaint, filed in the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey, alleges that the defendants engaged in threats of force, intimidation, and violent conduct directed at congregants of the Congregation Ohr Torah synagogue. According to the complaint, the defendants’ actions were intended to interfere with the synagogue community’s right to freely exercise their religion, including gathering for a religious ceremony to honor the life of a deceased rabbi.
“No American should be harassed, targeted, or discriminated against for peacefully practicing their religion,” said Attorney General Pamela Bondi. “Today’s lawsuit underscores this Department of Justice’s commitment to defending Jewish Americans — and all Americans of faith — from those who would threaten their right to worship.”

Punishment? Do the following. Gov benefits are a contract. You violate the rules you get benefits removed.
Trump should announce that if the Police, ICE or Border Security catch any of these INSURRECTIONIST RIOTERS throwing something or attacking them they will be INELIGIBLE for ANY AND ALL GOVERNMENT WELFARE MONEY forever. Retinal eye scan, fingerprints and DNA will be taken just in case they change their name.
Wanna stop this FAST? Threaten to take away their money. Soros many pay them for their time but he will NOT pay to keep them forever monetarily. These INSURRECTIONISTS WEARING MASKS most likely live off of government welfare programs. I bet most have no job. (Unless you count getting paid to RIOT). If we take away their section 8 or other benefits I bet they would all go home.
Benefits can be removed for certain behaviors, like selling drugs or offering false in and the list goes on. I would think BREAKING FEDERAL LAW against your country could count. Or charge them w TREASON. Hire more police and have one group go after these MASKED INSURREECTIONISTS and the other police go after the illegals.

The FACE act needs to be scrapped it is of very questionable Constitutional merit. There are other legal avenues DOJ could use to go after those harassing and threatening the synagogue members.
