This could be nothing and a false hope, or it could be a real end to the conflict.

If I was Israel, the only “peace deal” is the unilateral surrender of Hamas, Gaza. “Palestinians”, or whatever they call themselves with a very public apology to Israelis for attacking scores of civilians for decades, a promise to quit training their kids to kill all the Jews, and a public plea to the rest of the world’s Muslims to do the same. Even if we all know that Muhammad taught them to lie.

Anything short of that is not peace, but a return to the status quo.

Trump and ALL Western leaders simply do not comprehend the Islamic mind. This is the reason the conflict continues.

Since 1917 the Arabs (as they were then called) rejected every single compromise for peace because folks the bottom line is this:
The Arabs do not want another failed nation state.
The Arabs do not want peace.
The Arabs want to destroy Israel, “by any means possible”.
The PALEOstinians prefer hatred, treachery, violence, rape, killing, mutilation and more than anything else LYING.
The Arabs do not believe in the truth - for them it is irrelevant.

Trump will present his plan, HAMAS will pretend to go along with it and then kill whoever takes over in Gaza. They will never disarm. The only solution is to kill as many as possible while you can.
Then you bide time for about 8 years.

A key point of connection is that this happened on the last day of 5785 to someone I know.

There can be no real end to the conflict without the elimination of Hamas. So why is Trump trying to save Hamas? Unless the goal is to get the hostages released and then kill Hamas anyway.
