Leaked info: China's Taiwan invasion plans get help from Russia
UPI ^ | Sept. 26 | Lisa Hornung

Posted on 09/27/2025 3:36:49 AM PDT by dennisw

The leaked documents were found by hacktivist group, Black Moon. They show Russia agreeing in October 2024 to sell 37 BMD-4M light amphibious vehicles, 11 Sprut-SDM1 self-propelled anti-tank guns, 11 BTR-MDM airborne armored personnel carriers to the People's Liberation Army Air Force.

The main equipment provision contract had a value of $584 million before it was finalized, The Washington Post reported. It also included several command and observation vehicles and parachute systems designed to airdrop heavy loads from high altitudes.

Russia will train and equip Chinese paratroopers to invade Taiwan, according to leaked documents.

China will buy dozens of military vehicles and parachute systems for its paratroopers, and Russia will provide training to troops on how to operate them.

They appear to show a strengthening alliance between the two countries. They said the deal would give China "expanded air maneuver capability" and "offensive options against Taiwan, the Philippines and other island states in the region."

"Chinese President Xi Jinping has directed the People's Liberation Army to be ready to militarily seize Taiwan by 2027," RUSI said. "A large-scale amphibious operation is highly risky, with the sites suitable for landing craft to deliver troops and equipment ashore constrained by the gradient and load bearing capacity of the beaches.

Seizing airfields could allow troops to flow in by air, but as Russia discovered during its invasion of Ukraine, runways can be quickly denied. The PLA is therefore eager to identify ways of diversifying both the methods and locations at which it can move units onto Taiwan."

"It is a very good example of how the Russians have become an enabler for the Chinese," making the two countries' militaries almost impossible to separate,

Russia's oil and gas, along with its large defense industry, could become a "strategic backup for China," Watling added.

Sometimes I wish the guys predicting the future would have to face the penalty (Stoning) that OT prophets faced when their prediction failed to materialize.

Lets see, Americans train and to some extent
supply weapons to the Taiwanese.
Russians train the Chinese. Chinese use all the stolen Russian and American designs to make their weapons.

Look at how successful Russians are at war
in the Ukraine.
Look at how successful Americans are at war till
our Democrat politicians stop us from winning.
Who would you bet on being a better trainer?

Mother Russia will regret this just as they regretted working with the Germans to evade the Versailles Treaty limit on pilot and armor training in the 20’s and 30’s.

The RedChi’s will just knock off the weapons systems, so Russia is doubly foolish.

The Chinese rightly view Russia as an imperialist colonial power no different than the French, Brits, or Japanese. They raped China....and China is going to settle the score.

All of Russia’s Pacific facing ports were stolen from the Chinese in one sided treaties and by bullying.

As soon as America is driven back from the 1st and 2nd Island chains, all that vacant land and natural resources west of the Urals will be the next “liberation” target.

145mm Russians as much as 5,000 miles away can’t do dick to stop 1.4 billion Chinese needing Lebenstraum.

But what do I know and I do not feel strongly about it.

The ones that China sold them is likely slightly improved versions of the Soviet designs. Plus that built-in Chinese quality. 😉💥⬇️🆘️

This is interesting. $550 million isn’t that much, at least for U.S. equipment. I think that for $550 million, you might be able to purchase a single Patriot missile system.

We’re used to numbers in the billions.

Buying stuff like that doesn’t mean they’ll use them efficiently. I own an expensive guitar and can only play the opening riff of Smoke On The Water, poorly.

Oh okay. Seems like some people are itchin’ for more war. I really wanted to Make America Great Again but there are those who really care about more war than that.

Always trust “hacktivist groups”. Not

The Chinese birthrates are abysmal these days. I don’t think the CCP will be able to recruit many Chinese to move into the very cold Siberian parts of Russia that the PLO conquers. My take is that China will not make war against a distant Moscow, to recapture lost territories.

Taiwan is much more valuable to capture, due to it high tech industries and 3-nanometer TSMC. Intel was beating TSMC on decreasing the nanometers of CPUs until 2016

One thing Taiwan could do that would not cost billions to implement is a home guard, Taiwan’s population is north of 23 million, what if they trained 500,000 citizens in small arms, basic first aid and communications and the government stockpiled weapons and materials in strategic locations, when China tries a modern day Normandy invasion, 500,000 armed civilians are ready and waiting for the Chinese paratroopers and infantry storming the beaches are facing formidable forces around every corner of the country

Sounds like a force of the size needed to invade my neighborhood.
Has anyone told China that Taiwan is occupied by 23 million people?

Wow, looks like someone discovered that logistics are a key to invasion.

Now to perfect logistics before the invasion in 2027 ... 2028 ... 2029 ... 2030 ... 20....

Nice plan…..however the Taiwanese nationals I know do NOT support war with China. Why? Because China is their biggest Trade partner. Close to 50 percent of mom and pop businesses and many Taiwan companies trade with China and are dependent on Trade with China.

https://www.cnbc.com/2022/08/05/taiwans-trade-with-china-is-far-bigger-than-its-trade-with-the-us.html

Taiwan’s trade with China is far bigger than its trade with the U.S.

As with the current Ukie war, only the EU leadership wants war with Russia, the people don’t.
