Democratic New Jersey gubernatorial hopeful Mikie Sherrill’s husband was also caught up in the Naval Academy cheating scandal that has rocked her campaign, court documents exclusively obtained by The Post show.
Jason Hedberg was one of about four dozen midshipmen who sued top officials at the Naval Academy, Navy and Pentagon in 1994 in a desperate bid to block an Honor Board at Annapolis from deciding whether they should be dismissed from the school.
“In compliance with the orders of their superior military officers, each named plaintiff was compelled to make inculpatory statements to Navy Inspector General investigators,” read the complaint, which charged that the students were denied due process.
“Ultimately, 88 were found guilty of participation in the dissemination of the exam, the Washington Post reported at the time, with two dozen expelled and 64 receiving lesser penalties such as late graduation”.

The key piece of information in this case is when did she receive her commission? I would bet that she was commissioned in either August or December 1994 as typically an honor violation will result in a late commissioning. You will serve a probation of anywhere between two months and six months, which is why I think she probably graduated late and why she refuses to release her records.
As for her husband, let’s see if the crack media can actually connect the dots here. Obviously, both she and her husband were dating as midshipmen. She was most certainly one of the 88 that was caught up in the actual cheating scandal. Her husband who was her boyfriend at the time was the one who was being pressured by investigators to tell them what he knew, most probably about her. The fact that he was able to graduate and participate in the ceremony and she wasn’t, is pretty much all the proof that you need to know that she was a participant in the cheating scandal. The Post actually did some decent reporting here, noting that there were 88 people including two dozen who were expelled, and 64 people who received lesser penalties such as late graduation.
Mikie is an ethically challenged individual. She also also has an insider stock trading problem in Congress and apparently now she’s willing to assume her husband‘s punishment as her own just to save her campaign. This is actually a pretty big issue here in New Jersey, which is somewhat difficult to do as it’s almost impossible to get media time between New York and Philadelphia. Jack is doing quite well and if I had to say now he’s probably in the driver seat for winning election but a lot can change however this has been a terrible week for Mikie.
Her tranny crap is even worse than this. The Republican needs to hammer that.
Cheating is high school behavior later it just shows lack of character and laziness.
What should scare ALL of us is people with these “Ethics” are graduating from our service academies.
Full disclosure; I was nominated to USAF, Navy,
and Merchant Marine academies.
My math grades at that time
weren’t good enough. I could have went
to the Coast guard academy, but choose not to.
Thank you for educating us about what’s going on.
Thanks for the insight.
I didn’t serve but my impression is that cheating at one of the military academies is regarded as considerably more serious than just being high school stuff
I knew 4 USAFA grads in 1971, at Laughlin. They told me there had been a big cheating scandal at the USAFA, involving a number of cadets. Later, one became a Dallas Cowboy football player.
Not Roger! Ohnoes!
I think you’re English grades probably weren’t so good either.
When doing “professional” papers, I’m a lot more careful.
Here I do my “technical” off hand writing.
I graduated from a private university with
a STEM degree and a 3.5 GPA.
I was working full time and raising a
family when I earned that degree.
I’m retired and lazy today.
I can write with very proper English
and grammar when I so choose.
Hey, I see I wrote you’re instead of your.
Lol.
I made my comment to you because you wrote “would have went”.
I write with a pen myself.
Freegards!
No, he went to the Naval Academy. I don’t think the other football 🏈 player, was necessarily involved, but he DID resign.
A mistake made during editing. I had cut out some stuff I originally wanted to say.
I know the difference between “you are” and your.
ThanX! For pointing it out.
You’re your is just a mistake. Could even be autocorrect.
Did you know the difference between went and gone?
TYPICAL DEMOCRATS....LIARS AND CHEATERS!
to cheat at one of the service academies where the Honor Code is taken beyond seriously is very grave business. there is a reason why byword at USMA is “duty HONOR country.”
“I think you’re English grades probably weren’t so good either.”
‘your’
Hahahahha!!!! I just got it. It’s early, I’m in the midst of being in keto, dogs were upset with the thunderstorm that swept through in the middle of the night....
“I could have went to the Coast guard academy...”
And your English grades?
