French President Emmanuel Macron wants to pull off a grand diplomatic coup on Monday by collecting several Western countries together to recognize a Palestinian state, but he’s a long way from delivering a genuine breakthrough in Gaza.
The limits to what he can achieve at the United Nations General Assembly are clear. European heavyweights like Germany and Italy will not be joining his initiative and there’s little prospect his efforts can sway U.S. President Donald Trump or Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to end the war.
The big idea in New York is to trumpet the recognition of Palestinian statehood by France, the United Kingdom, Belgium, Portugal, Luxembourg, Malta, Andorra, Australia and Canada. One French official called it a “diplomatic victory” for Paris.

Recall also how Bill Clinton using Ehud Barak attempted to divide the Land, it was Arafat who wouldn’t agree. Instead we were given a Barack to divide us. Obama also tried in December of 2016 and failed. At some point the world does succeed but Israel clearly agrees to go along with it. Macron, Starmer, Albanese and others can decree it and wish for it and hope for it all they like, I do not believe it can be forced or that vile reprobate Obama creature and Samantha Power would have done so already.
Recall also President Trump published maps showing a divided Jerusalem, Judea and Samaria on the White House web page. This occurred on January 28th, 2020. Anthony Fauci arrived at the White house that very same day. I would not be surprised to learn it was the very same hour. I believe all the bad things for the USA and President Trump began at that moment, on that day.
We’re told in Isaiah 28 Israel will make a covenant with hell and with Sheol they are in agreement and God will annul it. This is a momentous event, God is a Covenant God and does not annul agreements and yet here he does.

Is it not normal practice for a viable “State” to exist BEFORE other States recognize its Statehood?
What is the Palestinian State? What is its government? What is its Constitution? Who are its responsible officers? What are its borders? What economy does it have, other than receiving aid? The Hamas terrorist organization is not a government. The Palestinian Authority is defunct. There is no “State” there and Macron knows it.
I have to assume that Macron et al are just posturing to pressure Israel into easing off on the Arab terrorists in Gaza.
