President Donald Trump announced a third strike on a drug boat on Friday, which killed three alleged “narcoterrorists.”
Trump said he directed Secretary of War Pete Hegseth to conduct the strike. An accompanying video shows a boat cruising through the water before being blown up.
“On my Orders, the Secretary of War ordered a lethal kinetic strike on a vessel affiliated with a Designated Terrorist Organization conducting narcotrafficking in the USSOUTHCOM area of responsibility,” Trump wrote on Truth Social.
“Intelligence confirmed the vessel was trafficking illicit narcotics, and was transiting along a known narcotrafficking passage enroute to poison Americans. The strike killed 3 male narcoterrorists aboard the vessel, which was in international waters. No U.S. Forces were harmed in this strike. STOP SELLING FENTANYL, NARCOTICS, AND ILLEGAL DRUGS IN AMERICA, AND COMMITTING VIOLENCE AND TERRORISM AGAINST AMERICANS!!!” he added.
It’s unclear where exactly the strike took place, though Trump noted it was “along a known narcotrafficking passage” in international waters.
Hegseth reposted Trump’s Truth Social post and posted a video of the strike.
A Venezuelan drug boat was struck earlier this week, also killing three. The first strike took place several weeks ago, with some questions as to the legality of the action.
Hegseth warned drug cartels earlier this week that the Department of War will actively track and kill them.
“Narco-terrorists are enemies of the United States — actively bringing death to our shores. We will stop at nothing to defend our homeland and our citizens. We will track them, kill them, and dismantle their networks throughout our hemisphere — at the times and places of our choosing,” he wrote on social media.
Three strikes, and uncountable balls.
In the background lurks China. China is a major buyer of Venezuelan oil. Maybe somewhere there is fentanyl in this partnership?
How long will it be before the cartel leadership produces a damaged container filled with baby milk powder and claims that the milk powder was destined for malnourished children in Haiti?
I really have a problem with using Hellfire missiles. They are expensive. I would suggest Specter with its 105 howitzer and its mini guns and Bofor cannon. Much cheaper.

“On my Orders,
Only about $100,000 a pop.
Actually rather cheap, as far as missiles go.
The pilots need some training hours and the missile program needs some live tests.
You left out their uniforms, which say baby powder milk factory on the back
In Inglis.
AC-130 Specter [ A, E & H versions ] was retired years ago[ 1995-2015 ]. Now, its the AC-130J Ghostrider with far more lethality - including Hellfire and other missiles.
These planes would require too much fuel to constantly loiter over the oceans for weeks, so using naval assets is the best and cheapest way to interdict the smugglers.

So do the guys behind the scenes in finding, tracking and targeting small fast moving boats.
“Splash 3”...followed by: “Roger that!”...followed by: “My pleasure, sir!”
The missile strike offers a more graphic discouragement to other traffickers.
Exactly
Only three?
MORE! MORE!
It is pretty well known that fentanyl pre cursors are part of the relationship.
It's so refreshing to have a President actually doing something about drug trafficing, instead of just flapping his jaws for political gain.
THANK YOU PRESIDENT TRUMP!
Yes, those missiles are so capable, that shooting narco boat is nothing, but an easy exercise. kind of equivalent of backyard plinking.
Those narco terrorists have no chance!
We just need to have the will to do it!
