Fox News host Greg Gutfeld snapped after Jessica Tarlov mentioned that people didn't pay as much attention to the shooting death of Democratic Minnesota state Rep. Melissa Hortman as the assassination of Charlie Kirk, and characterized Tyler Robinson as coming from a "conservative family."
JESSICA TARLOV: What about Melissa Hortman?
GREG GUTFELD: Do you want to talk about Melissa Hortman? Did you know her name before it happened? None of us did. None of us were spending every single day talking about Melissa Hortman. I never heard of her—
JESSICA TARLOV: So she doesn't matter?
GREG GUTFELD: Don't play that bullshit with me. You know there was no what I'm saying is there was no demonization amplification about that woman before she died; it was a specific crime against her by somebody who knew her. Bring up Josh Shapiro, but you will not bring up, for example, that was a pro-Palestine person. Don't use your "what about this" angle. The fact of the matter is the both-sides argument not only doesn't fly — we don't care. We don't care about your both-sides argument. That sh-t is dead to us. There is no cognitive dissonance on our side too. On your side, your beliefs do not match reality, so you're coming up with these rationalizations: "What about this," or "what about that?"

I don’t see how you can put the two murders in the same light. Hortmon was killed by a nut who thought he was helping Governor Walz. The killer wasn’t a MAGA. Kirk was assassinated by someone who was motivated by hate and knew exactly what he was doing.

He always had TDS but it never came up. But this is over the top. I don't even want to know someone who is joyful about the slaughter of someone who not only poses no threat to anyone but whose whole point was to engage in two-way conversations with people who disagreed with him.

If you believe he is serious he needs to be reported to the police, just so there is a record of his actions.
So much of a crater thatTarlov felt the need to clarify her remarks twice: once after Gutfeld called her out for her whataboutism, and second during the "One More Thing" segment, where she essentially repeated what she said earlier that she absolutely did not mean to say anything other than how horrible the killing of Charlie Kirk was.
