Nurse who filed complaint keeps job after hospital investigation into September 10 incident
A New Jersey doctor accused of celebrating conservative activist Charlie Kirk's assassination has resigned, and the nurse who reported him will get to keep her job, the hospital where they worked told Fox News Digital.
Englewood Health says it "diligently investigated" the September 10 incident "between a doctor and a nurse in a patient care area." The update came after nurse Lexi Kuenzle, 33, sued Englewood Health and Dr. Matthew Jung, alleging that Jung "cheered and celebrated" Charlie Kirk's assassination in comments made in front of patients and hospital staff, and that she was suspended after she reported him.
While the findings of the hospital's investigation have not been disclosed, a spokesperson for the healthcare provider told Fox News Digital in an email that it has "[a]ccepted the physician’s resignation, and the nurse is expected to work her scheduled shifts."
The spokesperson went on to say, "The nurse was never fired; was never told she would be fired by Englewood Hospital; and will not miss any pay as part of our review of this matter."
Kuenzle, who appeared on "Fox & Friends" Monday morning with her attorney John-Paul Deol of the Dhillon Law Group, told host Brian Kilmeade that she did not know who Dr. Jung was prior to their interaction on Wednesday
"He was standing there, celebrating the death of Charlie Kirk, saying how ‘he deserved it,’ he hated Charlie Kirk and ‘he had it coming to him,’" the nurse, who considers herself "a big fan of Charlie Kirk" said.
Speaking up wasn’t optional for me; it was my duty as a nurse to protect patients from that kind of cruelty and to uphold the integrity of our profession," Kuenzle said

Make that name known far and wide.
If I recall correctly, I believe the nurse stated that her union informed her she would need to seek other employment, and not necessarily the hospital directly.
Sounds like someone at her union has a chip on their shoulder and didn’t like that she spoke out. Perhaps the hospital didn’t have a problem with the nurse? Perhaps maybe the union needs some scrutiny.
Cancelled! Go peddle your covid vax elsewhere a hole!
Well! Nearly the definition of Poetic Justice.
However, next time this Nurse has a bad experience with a doctor, she should fight the temptation to immediately post the entire story on her private account which is open to the public.
I think the fact that she publicly embarrassed her hospital employer is the main reason she was tossed overboard so quickly. Employers don’t like having their company’ name publicly dragged through the mud, especially when they deserve it.
This kind of diplomacy was a lesson I had to learn in my own life decades ago when I was in the Navy.
I was justified in certain complaints, but I blabbed it to the wrong people, instead of (slowly) working things out through the system.
Google removed all his negative feedback.
Well if he resigned it wasn’t merely because the nurse “said” he did it.
And now the employees of that hospital need to vote to decertify the union. Either the union rep went rogue and needs to be fired immediately, or the union rep was just passing on the hospital's instructions, in which case union needs to be eliminated for providing no protection for a member.
Racial slurs are not needed nor wanted on FR.
He's a tranny surgeon.
The POS quack should lose his license to practice medicine.
I would go to a witch doctor before I’d go to this a**hole.
This clown won’t get a job on night shift at UrgentCare in BFE, Nowhere.
Matthew Jung may be a doctor by virtue of a degree and a license but by character he is nothing more than a medical technician.

I’m thinking poofter for sure.
good riddance “Doc”- don’t need you bias in the field of medicine! People’s lives are dependent on doctors, and when you harbor such ill feelings about conservatives- they can’t trust you- ever!
But Nurse Kuenzle "...will not miss any pay as part of our review of this matter."
"Not miss any pay"??? Englewood Health should award Nurse Kuenzle a $100,000 bonus for revealing the creepy and cruel doctor! That would incentivize others to come forward who observe immoral and/or illegal behavior that violates their code of ethics.
He was a time bomb waiting to go off. Imagine the millions that the Englewood Health would be sued for if he had caused caused a Republican patient to die.
SOMETHING triggered him 😯😧😨 ...
