Tyler Robinson "had become more political in recent years," Utah Gov. Spencer Cox said a family member of his told investigators, hinting at a possible motive in Charlie Kirk's killing.
Recently, and before the shooting Wednesday, the 22-year-old Utah local came to dinner and was talking with another family member about how Charlie Kirk was coming to UVU.
The TWO "talked about why THEY didn't like him and the viewpoints that he [Kirk] had," Cox said in a press conference Friday morning.
Kirk was "full of hate and spreading hate," THE FAMILY MEMBER told investigators, according to the governor.

I have watched many of Charlie’s talks, and never once has he uttered something even slightly hateful.
Truth is hate to those who hate the truth.
Maybe the whole family needs to be brought in for questioning.
He never listened to Charlie Kirk… he listened to leftist commentators telling him what Charlie Kirk said.

That was one of the good lines in Cox’s remarks: speech is not violence. Violence is violence.
