The father probably saw all the pictures circulated and realized it was his son. Then confronted son and got a confession out of him. Apparently the brother was trying to turn him in.

Apparently the father works for the local sheriff’s department. So he’s privy to the details of the investigation, and he has no choice but to turn the loser son in unless he’s willing to toss everything in his own life away.

There is a 4 chan name called Skye Valdez that posted the day before the shooting a song about Charlie dying and that something big was going to happen. It looks like they are one in the same.
