Homeland ministers from Britain, the United States and the other "Five Eyes" alliance will announce new measures this week to increase border security and target people smugglers, British interior minister Shabana Mahmood said on Sunday.
The ministers from the Five Eyes intelligence sharing network - the U.S., Britain, Canada, Australia and New Zealand - will meet in London on Monday and Tuesday, Britain's Home Office said, with measures to "smash criminal smuggling gangs" the focus of the talks.

In the UK the dingy boats arrive in a the most predictable location, the shortest distance from France - Dover. The UK Navy has no means of intercepting them? The French have no way of stopping them leaving? No way to see how they get there? Etc.

Smoke and mirrors. Every western government has passively encouraged human smuggling over the past several years so there is no reason to believe suddenly they’re against it, Nope. Perhaps to make it seem as if five eyes exists for some reason other than establishing a network of intel agencies that can spy on other member’s citizens as a way of circumventing laws against them spying on their citizens directly.
The other four are trying to appease the US with this carrot to keep the FVEY club going. They think Americans are stupid and will buy this scam. They get way more from the club than we do and aren’t worth our time.
The Five Eyes have been perverted by the CIA to spy on their Domestic enemies.
