The mystery surrounding local elections in Germany’s North Rhine–Westphalia province deepens as two more politicians from the right-wing anti-immigration Alternative für Deutschland (AfD) were reported dead unexpectedly, just days before the vote.
As Hungarian Conservative reported earlier this week, the sudden death of Ralph Lange in Blomberg marked the fourth such case in little more than ten days. Now, media reports suggest that two additional reserve candidates have also died.
Moreover, German outlet Die Welt wrote that in addition to these six cases, Hans-Joachim Kind, a direct AfD candidate in Kremenholl, a district in southern Remscheid, also died shortly before the election.

Officials have ruled out foul play.
I am growing to despise the leaders of my german ancestors.
How fortuitous!
I despised them even before I discovered that 27% of my DNA came from Germanic Europe.
I’m thinking something in the vaccine could accept a signal from a device and kill someone...
It's ludicrous that the AfD are labeled "far right".
Europe's definition of far right is anyone having a remotely conservative opinion, or anything that differs from the left wing view.
Authorities said there’s no evidence of foul play because 6 politicians from other parties also died after announcing their nominations.
That is the most idiotic reasoning if I ever heard one.
“According to Die Welt, candidates from other parties have also died after their nominations, with six such cases recorded outside the AfD.”
I wonder if those six deaths from other parties occurred in the last 10 days, like we've seen with the AfD candidates...
“A court has suspended the order banning the party as extremest, so the candidates started suffering from Sudden Death Syndrome.”
Thanks, so this was their backup plan.
Makes sense.
I don’t think the deep state understands “death”. It happens to everyone..... eventually. Safe and protected with not a fear in the world... then the worm turns...as it always does. So be of good cheer, all it takes is one ant to turn around and nibble at the crickets. Then all the ants will follow.
There needs to be a health warning when someone applies to run for office there.
This is not entirely accurate. In Europe, "far right" means supporting nationalism over globalism. Nationalists, of course, can be pro-state or pro-liberty (the definition of the left-right divide in the U.S.). Recall that Germany fell under the spell of National Socialists (Nazis) back in the 1930s. The Nazis used state-control over the economy and nearly eliminated civil liberties, particularly for the out-groups the Nazis scapegoated. State control over the economy and zero appreciation for civil liberties are staples of the U.S. left wing. But Europeans can't look past the Nationalism. Even though Nazis were in no way conservative, the Nazis were Nationalists, and that is why they are considered right wing.
So even though AfD is very different than Nazis because AfD supports a market economy and civil liberties of citizens, AfD's Nationalism is the characteristic that makes it "right wing".
take your time... lol
Their ridiculous anthem , “Die Horst Wessel Lied’’(The Horst Wessel Song) sings about their comrades being ‘’shot by "the Red Front and reaction''. "Reactionary''is what the Left has historically called the Right, that is to say conservatives.
