US President Donald Trump announced on Monday that he would be awarding former New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani the Presidential Medal of Freedom.

“As President of the United States of America, I am pleased to announce that Rudy Giuliani, the greatest Mayor in the history of New York City, and an equally great American Patriot, will receive THE PRESIDENTIAL MEDAL OF FREEDOM, our Country’s highest civilian honor. Details as to time and place to follow,” Trump wrote in a post on his Truth Social platform.

The announcement comes as Giuliani is recovering in hospital following an accident in New Hampshire.

Thank you very much and God bless you.

Wonderful.

Warning: The non-excerpted portion of the article is a nasty smear of Mayor Rudy Giuliani, totally slanted, as well as inappropriate. Do let Arutz Sheva know of your displeasure, if you can spare a moment.

Giuliani kept it together for us during the days after 9-11.

It was 5 hours until we got a call from my son.

He deserves it too, he’s a hero! this man stopped his car to help a woman who was the victim of domestic violence, only to be hit by a car after wards and nearly killed..was the whole thing a setup in order to trap him that is what I would like to know

Two great achievements.

Instituting stop, question and frisk to curb out of control street crime in NYC. Increasing support for and respect of law enforcement when many were leaving the force. Nearly one million tax paying residents had left New York in the time just before he was sworn in as Mayor. He reversed that.

And keeping people from panic during the attack on the USA by Muslim invaders on 911. America’s Mayor.

>>this man stopped his car to help a woman who was the victim of domestic violence

I read an article that said the boyfriend she claimed was violent was so badly beaten up, presumably by her, that he had to be hospitalized.

This makes me happy. I hope President Trump helps him with his financial/legal troubles as well, and takes further steps to help resurrect his smeared reputation.

Giuliani was treated so poorly - even many supposedly on “our side” turned their backs when it became inconvenient to publicly question the stolen election, or support those who did.

So sad. He is a national treasure.

Is that was the case, how come she ran? I thought the story was that she was fleeing her abusive boyfriend/husband and was flagging someone for help

He put gangsters and insider traders in jail, and saved New York City from the brink of bankruptcy and the abyss of urban decay and crime. THEN he kept it together after 9/11, and he courageously went up against the Deep State to stop the steal, and they struck back hard against him. It could be he was hit by an angry mob boss’ minion, or by a deep stater’s minion. Not much difference.

The anonymous staff writer who penned this smear against him isn’t fit to shine his shoes.

Giuliani kept it together for us during the days after 9-11.

That was the cherry on top.

Prior to that, he had a great run a mayor. He fixed NYC after Dinkins. When Giuliani was mayor, I walked Manhattan and rode the subways at 3 a.m. and felt perfectly safe.
