Good evening, Theophilus, and a Happy Labor Day to you.
Thanks for the great tune. ((HUGS))
Good evening/morning, luvie...enjoy your Labor Day.
He’s cute!
It really does feel good, but I probably won’t go out. I’m simply not an outside person. Except when I need fresh air. Then I sneeze for an hour afterward. LOL!
It will look better without the clippings all in piles. And if they stay that way for very long, then the yard will be even lumpier and bumpier when riding Champ. Good idea to spread them out....like they can become mulch. Hubby has a mulch blade on our mower and he doesn’t use the grass catcher. Chops the clippings into tiny bits
Oh, I just went out to top off the kitties’ food, and it’s still too wet to sit on the patio. I don’t think it’s sprinkling any more, but everything is wet. Which is nice. Our patio plants look really happy at this point.
Excellent tune for Labor Day. Thanks, whitney69. ((HUGS)) Enjoy the day.
The clippings aren’t bad when I can mow regularly but if the weather holds me off for a while and the grass gets really long, it looks like a cut hayfield. I don’t need to go over the entire yard. Just the areas that are clumped up to spread the clippings out more evenly. Based on tonight’s forecast, I need to do it tomorrow. Tuesday looks to be wet. It’ll probably pour then because I have an appointment in the afternoon. LOL
Too bad it’s too wet to sit outside for a bit. The kitties never mind having company for a few minutes. Shadow likes it because he can get his tummy skritched. :-)
It’s right chilly here. It dawned on me I never checked the mail yesterday so it went out a little while ago. brrrr The katydids don’t seem very happy about it. They’re chattering but the chatter is sluggish.
I just checked your temp and you’re right. It’s in the brrrrrr stage at 63, and Katydids don’t have sweaters. LOL!
Guess I’d better go get some sleep. See ya tomorrow. Hubby’s watching...or rather sleeping through...old cowboy movies, and if I have to listen to one more of those in the background, I’ll scream. And wake him up. π€£
These cool nights are unusual for this time of year and the bugs and other critters aren’t used to it. I imagine the critters are lovin’ it at least. Sure wish I could crack a couple of windows open.
Get a good night’s sleep and enjoy sleeping in tomorrow. I’m off to finish getting things done and head for the bat cave. Catch ya tomorrow.
I had a beautiful ride, all around Plymouth County.
I avoided the Cape! LOL!
Plenty of time for Cape Cod AFTER Labor Day. π
