Yes, I was anticipating your response, which of course is true. But think about the Feds pursuit for decades of the Mafia in New York. The wars between the families there resulted in shootouts in the streets all over town. Wasn’t that a problem for city and state law enforcement to handle, and if so, why was it necessary for the Feds to be involved?

I’m so old that I can remember when Chicago was a fun, exciting place to visit for a weekend. Museums, SHOPPING, live theater, comedy clubs, excellent eats, DANCING - Chi-Town had it ALL! And I was never shot, stabbed, raped or robbed! Not even ONCE!
‘The People’s Republik of Milwaukeestan’ (where I grew up) is also having a ‘fire for effect’ Labor Day Weekend - though those dumb@ss ‘gang bangers’ never seem to hit much - even after firing off 100’s rounds on auto!
