Adam Sandler is setting the record straight on the meaning behind a scathing lyric in his “SNL:50” song. During the 50th anniversary special of “Saturday Night Live,” the comedian, 58, sang an original track titled “50 Years.” Sandler co-wrote “50 Years” alongside “SNL” writer Dan Bulla.
In the track, the “Happy Gilmore” star belted out: “50 years of finding out your favorite musician is antisemitic.” During an interview with Vulture, Sandler was asked if he had a certain musician in mind when writing the line.

The history from 1948 to now, is not very favorable to the
Arabs on the West Bank and in Gaza, as it relates to trying
to create a nation for themselves, and live in peace with
others.
Jordon, Lebanon, Egypt... and I believe the list goes on,
DO NOT WANT people who call themselves Palestinians.
In some ways they remind me of today’s democrats. Their
hatred knows no limitations at all.
They’ll out and out sacrifice their own children’s futures
for the cause, whatever that cause is.
Lower violence and death in Washington, D. C.? Oh who
cares, why it’s Trump going unConstitutional, as if they
Left gave one hoot about it ever.
Cat Stevens (aka Youssouf Islam)?
Has Cat Steven every said anything antisemitic?
Pink Floyd guy maybe.
Could probably be a lot of them.
That’s who I immediately thought of….Roger Waters.
Their music gives me an instant headache.
Adam Sandler- Piece of Shit Car(song)

I don’t think Fear was antisemitic. But they were never a big band.
They were anti-everything.
From the article it seems Kanye West was sure that line in Sandler’s song was about him.
Yo, “Ye”. He said ‘singer’ so you’re clear.
Yeah. That’s guy is a raving anti-Semite.
Supports chicoms and Putin too
Ye’s so vain. He probably thought that song was about him, he’s so vain. I bet he thought that song was about him.
Radio DJs mocked him for allegedly supporting the ayatollah, e.g. with parody titles like "Tea for the Killerman".
LOL! Warren Beatty, Cat Stevens or James Taylor. I think she had it bad for Walter Cronkite.
Absolutely drop-dead certain, 100% it was NOT Kanye. Roger Waters is the overwhelming favorite.
