Reform UK is pledging mass deportations of asylum seekers who arrive in the UK in small boats.
The party's leader - Nigel Farage - has told The Times that there is a "massive crisis" in the UK, which threatens national security and could lead to public disorder.
Under the plans, people could be arrested on arrival, detained on disused RAF bases and, if agreements were reached, returned to Afghanistan, Eritrea and other countries that are significant sources of arrivals.
Many of these measures could face legal challenges and political opposition. Labour has branded them "pie in the sky", while the Conservatives said Reform were recycling their ideas.
Reform said the plans would cost £10bn over five years, but would save the government money as it would not be spending money on asylum hotels and other costs.
Under the proposed Illegal Migration (Mass Deportation) Bill, Farage's party would consider sending migrants to British overseas territories like Ascension Island as a "fallback" option.
It would also consider using "third countries" like Rwanda and Albania to house asylum seekers.

Hooray! America’s example shows it can work. Europe needs to follow suit.
France will then start to feel the costs aka Mexico and will begin to tighten up their border.
Maybe Nigel can take some 'deal making' pointers from Donald! 😁
The British Navy should just stop them from landing. When they run out of supplies they’ll turn around & go back to where they came from. If it was France, France’s navy should stop them from landing.
If they wanted to be nice, they could offer to tow them to north Africa.
In reality, the Starmer government is actively involved in bringing the illegals into the country - just like the Biden administration and the Brit are paying for importing these illegal aliens just like we Americans paid for the Biden illegal invasion
If the Nazis had invaded in 1940, I think Churchill would have just rounded them up and deported them to Ascension Island.
Or
He might have used extreme violence to repel the invasion.
Machine guns/drones to the boats with all adults. Same for the NGO boats, too.
The Second Dunkirk not has been as miraculous for GB as the first.
If the UK were serious about stopping this they could patrol their waters with their navy vessel.
ROFL!
The Royal Navy is too busy enjoying their rum, sodomy, and the lash.
When will Farage be arrested for this “hate speech” like the bloke who said he loves bacon?
Someone call the Bobbies! They missed this one!
Or he could order the navy to sink them.
Farage was all squishy about deportations, but now is responding to a challenge from the right. Not especially reassuring—and most likely on track for them to largely stay, just like here.
Asylum Seekers = Massive Crisis
People have wised up the the liberal (communists) plan to brake the back of free countries.
Britain discovers what it takes to have a secure border . . .
Nigel Farage accused Sir Keir Starmer of siding with international courts against the British public as he unveiled his plans for mass deportations of illegal migrants.
Writing for The Telegraph, the Reform UK leader pledged to leave the European Convention on Human Rights (ECHR), repeal the Human Rights Act and disapply three other international treaties that he said acted as “roadblocks” to deporting anyone who entered the UK illegally.
Mr Farage – who will set out detailed plans in a speech on Tuesday – argued that such a move was “justified” under the Vienna Convention, the cornerstone of international law, because Britain faced “a national emergency in which uncontrolled illegal migration undermines public order”.
