A Lithuanian same-sex couple has been declared a legal family by a court in Lithuania, a historic victory for LGBTQ+ people in the Baltic nation.
The two women in the couple, whose identities have not been made public, were living together and wanted to have their cohabitation recognized by the government as a form of partnership. The Vilnius City District Court agreed and ruled that the state should create a way for them to register their relationship.
The Lithuanian constitution bans same-sex marriage, and the countryβs Civil Code also bans the recognition of same-sex relationships as civil partnerships.
Nevertheless, the decision comes after the nationβs Constitutional Court ruled in April that the Lithuanian Civil Code unconstitutionally limits relationship recognition to relationships that are composed of one man and one woman. The ruling said that current law violates constitutional principles, including βthe concept of the family derived from [the constitution], respect for human rights and dignity, as well as the values of equality, pluralism, and tolerance inherent in a democratic society.β

One of the (hidden) REQUIREMENTS of joining the EU is that the EU gets control of the country’s courts. The country of Hungary is having to deal with that requirement right now, as the Hungarian courts continue to put Hungarian interests ahead of EU interests and thus the EU is demanding that the Hungary ‘reform’ their courts.
So when you read garbage about Ukraine fighting for their freedom, don’t fall for it. Should their war against Russia end, what’s left of Ukraine will answer to the EU and thus have their courts controlled by the EU (as we already with gay pride parades in Kiev). So they’re not fighting for their “freedom”, they’re simply fighting for which plantation to live on, and right now, I’m not so sure that the Russian plantation is any worse than the EU, given the EU’s policies, such as Net Zero (soon no more air conditioning, EVs, and electric everything else), the above Globohomo, Mass Migration, and many other horrific policies.
NATO and globohomo are two sides of the same coin.
