Kentucky Republican Representative Thomas Massie's political fortunes have shifted dramatically, with new polling showing a steep drop in support after an aggressive MAGA-backed push to unseat him.
According to a new internal poll by McLaughlin and Associates, posted by Donald Trump on his Truth Social account, Massie's favorability rating dropped from 54 percent in June to 43 percent this month, while his unfavorability rating rose to 54 percent from 40 percent. His overall job approval slipped from 52 percent to 39 percent.
The poll attributed Massie's falling support to a barrage of ads from MAGA Inc, a pro-Trump super PAC that spent $800,000 on a recent TV campaign in his district, following an earlier $1 million ad buy targeting him.
"MAGA Kentucky's advertising campaign has turned Thomas Massie's polling numbers up-side-down, leaving him exposed and extremely vulnerable in a Republican primary election for Congress," the poll stated.

Massies polling is caused by his noisy opposition to some of the things I want Trump to do. No, Trump and some of his tactics are not perfect, but we have to live in the real world. Perfection is not possible.
It was from President Trump and his pollster and the source was President Trump's own post on his Truth Social account.
Based on polling trends his best hope is a primary with multiple opponents to split the vote.
Embarrassing to see one of the best dealing with these ludicrous attacks while losers like Lindsey graham and Randy Fine get ‘complete endorsements’.
Good riddance hopefully.
Massie flunked the team player exam bigly.
Everything he said was going to happen is true. Spending is outrageous right now. MAGA will stay home in the midterms and Trump will lose the house if he doesn’t start arresting people or stop the ludicrous spending.

He cast the deciding vote - and he gave Biden a blank check. He claimed all there good things would flow from lifting the Debt Ceiling, and when they didn’t he claimed they lied to him. Tricked him, in effect.
