ANCHORAGE /Alaska /, August 16. /TASS/. Russian President Vladimir Putin confirmed that the conflict in Ukraine would have never started had Donald Trump been the president of the United States in 2022.
"I'd like to remind you that in 2022 during the last contact with the previous administration, I tried to convince my previous American colleague that the situation should not be brought to the point of no return, when it would come to hostilities. And I said it quite directly back then that it's a big mistake," Putin said at a joint news conference. "Today, when President Trump is saying that if he had been the president back then, there would have been no war, and I'm quite sure that it would indeed be so. I can confirm that."

Of course. Trump would have agreed to whatever Putin demanded from Ukraine. But then, Putin had already claimed and annexed Donbass and Crimea in 2020 so the rest of Ukraine was in his sights.

Both Trump and Putin knew it was absolutely a false narrative. The info in the bags....confirms it to the world. And the history books need to reflect the truth....not the Dem narrative.

We keep hearing from Trump and now Putin that if Trump were president the war would not have happened. This statement begs the question - just what was the actual state of affairs that preceded Putin’s invasion of Ukraine? Certainly there had to have been a reason that could have been solved by Putin and Trump, if both claim there would have been no war if Trump were president. The narrative now in the West is that Putin invaded just to grab more territory - that being the simple beginning and end to all discussions, but is this really the entire story? The line separating Russia from Ukraine was apparently randomly drawn right through a Russian ethnic territory. Zelensky, a Russian hating Nazi, was determined to force assimilate the ethnic Russians into Ukraine whether they wanted to or not. My understanding is that he tried to do this through a variety of methods, using brute force in some instances against recalcitrant ethnic Russians who then turned to relief from ‘Mother’ Russia. Interestingly one of the first points in yesterday’s discussions was that Russia agreed to no longer resist Zelensky’s efforts to impose Ukrainian language on ethnic Russians. However, yesterday’s ‘understanding’ obviously did not include the border territory now under Russian control. What was actually going on in the border regions before Putin invaded? Recall the odd statement by Biden that a slight invasion by Putin would not be serious, or words to that effect. What in the world was the meaning of that statement? It was as if Biden extended an invitation to Putin to invade, which I believe all along was the West’s underlying objective and why they instigated the war way back in 2014 through the Orange Revolution. Remember, the president that was overthrown was not a war hawk like puppet Zelensky. Crazy neocons like Nuland, John Bolton, Lindsey Graham, Nikki Haley, etc., - actually to this day want and think they can achieve regime change in Russia through the West’s meddling in and even physical invasion of Russia, the very thing they condemn Putin for doing in Ukraine. This is the height of extreme crazy. It really is as deranged as TDS. Remember, underlying all of the war mongering is a decision by World Cabal Deep State actors to instigate another world war to enrich their coffers at the expense of humanity.
The disastrous Afghan withdrawal showed weakness and Putin felt he could do what he wanted.
