Pentagon revokes security clearance of former CIA official over Russia hoax: Report

Miller claimed to have led the team that drafted the 2017 ICA that concluded the Russians interfered in the 2016 election with the aim of electing President Donald Trump.

The Pentagon has reportedly revoked the security clearance of former CIA official Susan Miller, who has appeared on an array of media outlets in recent weeks discussing her alleged role in drafting an intelligence community assessment (ICA) related to the Russia collusion hoax.

Miller claimed to have led the team that drafted the 2017 ICA that concluded the Russians interfered in the 2016 election with the aim of electing President Donald Trump. However, intelligence officials have denied her claims to have been involved in the report.

“This woman totally shouldn’t hold a high level security clearance after pushing the Russia Hoax. All she did was lie to the American people to hurt Trump,” a Department of Defense official told The Federalist.

Miller's myriad social media appearances led to a number of reports into her background an alleged role, including a report from Just the News highlighting her vocally anti-Trump social media activity.

Pulling security clearances should be the default when leaving office. One should only have a security clearance after leaving government for a specific and necessary purpose. .
What really should happen is measures taken to ensure that these subversive government employees can no longer get jobs in government or in companies that do business with government. In addition, if they have law licenses, ethics complaints should be lodged against them in the states that they are licensed.
Most of people involved in subverting the will of the American people will not be indicted and tried. At least some justice will be served if their net wealth is drained and careers destroyed.

Why aren't all security clearances revoked when the person no longer holds the position for which the clearance was required?

Why do we have thopusands of former poliyicians and unemployed people still holding security clearances?

In theory yes, but they keep them “active” in case you a) come back, (b get a contractor job that requires same clearance. Idea is this saves both government and the contractor money. In this case there are plenty of contractors and security companies with Intel contracts in and around the Beltway to pick them up. Even if they do no actual work (They’re “marketing”!),they’ll hold them as a favor.

And again, when you leave your post, clearances should be cancelled the same day. No question.

Left out the time period keep them active for a year.... I’ve been told it’s now 3 years. Have not verified that.

Yes but as long as you contract out “classied work” it’s not that simple.

President Trump should have clearances abolished if they worked for POS Obama, POS Biden, POS Clinton. Everyone of them. Their rich days of being on the Sunday programs would end. Do it loud and proud President Trump.

“ Pulling security clearances should be the default when leaving office.”

It’s a benefit of the revolving door Deep State. If you worked for the government and have a security clearance, it’s easier for you to be rehired as a consultant or by some government contractor, such as the defense industry.
