I don't think that Adam Schiff received a blanket pardon from Biden. The pardon that Biden allegedly gave Schiff was for any offenses against the United States which he may have committed or taken part in arising from or in any manner related to the activities or subject matter of the Select Committee to Investigate the January 6th Attack on the United States Capitol. Anything outside the scope of this pardon is free game. Am I incorrect?
even if he did, simply bring up for questioning under oath and get him lying again which wont be covered.
According to The Hill:
“Those “full and unconditional” pardons cover any offenses tied to the “activities or subject matter” of the committee and are not restricted to a specific time period.”

I heard on a podcast this morning that indeed there is room to prosecute Schitt (guy is a lawyer) for sharing top secret classified info, his pardon was for J6 crap only. Also it is said that he waived the pardon stating he did nothing wrong.
Along with Tom Fitton at Judicial Watch, I contend that blanket pardons are not valid. One has to have been convicted of a specific crime or crimes for a pardon.
As Fitton mentioned, indict them all and let the legal process sort it out. In the meantime, the miscreants will have those huge legal costs like all of the conservatives that were persecuted along with the legal Sword of Damocles hanging over their heads. There’s a good chance of conviction and jail.
Ford’s pardon of Nixon was challenged on these grounds though it was never pursued.
Pardon is void if he lies now anyways
Good to know. I have been reading a lot of threads on FR and posters keep bringing up that he is untouchable on these potential charges that have nothing to due with J6.
The mortgage fraud charge against Schiff is like getting Al Capone for tax evasion - but whatever works. :)
I would rather it be a blanket party than a blanket pardon.

Al Capone was a very bad man. But he did much less damage to the United States than has Schiff.
Nothing will happen to Schiff-For-Brains. Why? Rat Party Privilege.
Bring him up for questioning. If he has a pardon, he can’t refuse to testify. Unless he wants to contend that the pardon by President Autopen is invalid, which would be an interesting take.
So he either has to talk under threat of perjury should he lie, or claim fifth amendment rights which puts him in potential contempt land, or argue that Biden was legally incompetent.

He doesn’t have that privilege at the moment. Maybe late 2026 after the election he will.

Good point; either way he’s cornered. It will be interesting to see how this plays out.
