Gotta open windows a bit so the AC can shove the hot air out of the car. I do it too.

Oooo! A little break in the heat! It would be nice if it would stay that way. We’ll be about the same tomorrow, though I’ll have humidity to make it feel hotter.

I saw the rain west of you earlier and hoped it would hold up. Oh well. Not in the cards for you tonight.

I haven’t walked into that guy’s field to look closely at the corn but I’d say he’ll have a good harvest. We had plenty of rain at the right time.

I did some real riding this weekend.

It was kind of hot, so I had to take off my jacket. It’s a whole different feeling.

But now my arms and neck are sunburnt. Not too bad though.

Death was closing in on San Antonio’s Fred Navarro. He was wounded from enemy gunfire until a pararescue saved his life in a bloody battle.

“There was a second MOH recipient for his actions that day. SGT James W Robinson Jr. My high school is named in his honor. I graduated in 1979. His parents donated his MOH to the school. It is still displayed behind the glass, along with his citation right inside the main entrance of the school. RIP. Every April 11th I remind my classmates to remember him and what he sacrificed.”
