Nearly 60% of Germans would likely not take up arms to defend their country if attacked, according to a new survey conducted for German broadcaster RND, The Telegraph reported.
Only 16% said they would "definitely" fight, and 22% said they "probably" would.
The findings present a serious challenge to Defense Minister Boris Pistorius, who is spearheading efforts to rearm Germany and expand the Bundeswehr….

Germany has been under attack for a couple of decades and I haven’t seen much news about anyone fighting back.
The Muslim invasion is coming to a conclusion soon.
If the resistance doesn’t start soon they have no chance of surviving.
The social Welfare State has done more to destroy countries than any nuclear missile ever would.
If there is anything easy to change, it is getting the young men of a nation pumped up and ready to fight for their country.
It isn’t hard to go from zero, to filling the recruiting stations if the big patriotic machine effort is started up.
Even in America, from Jimmy Carter to Ronald Reagan we could see some of that.
Hey America gets some credit for this, it worked really hard to instill pacifism in Germany after WWII, to late for buyers remorse now.

The chief problem in the US....how you would conduct the ‘draft’ and refusal of probably 60-percent of inner-city dweller to participate, and individuals too drugged-up to be of any value.

Doubtful, very doubtful. The US military’s huge recruitment shortfalls during Senile Joe’s rule is a good guide. The people of the EU do NOT back their leader’s Ukie war.

Remember “What if they held a war, and nobody came?” bumper stickers from the ‘70’s? That smug sentiment runs even deeper now, I’d think.

Is this so bad if it includes the total adult population that includes elderly, infirm, and women included? How was the poll stated? Did it imply training to fight in warfare?

Depends on our leadership. Under senile Joe no one joined up, under Trump’s first term our recruitment centers were flooded.
That said, the U.S. still raises warriors, despite the left trying to feminize our youths….and I proudly did my part training my kids….from hunting, fishing to shooting all types of firearms from the age of 14….I even threw my son’s computer games into the garbage , along with our TV at 15 and made him attend church….
Our only hope is to raise strong, Christian men.
That has nothing to do with what I pointed out about “filling the recruiting stations if the big patriotic machine effort is started up”.
Biden and Trump are similar to Carter and Reagan, just a tiny hint of what I was talking about, now if you have an enemy invasion and turn on the full patriotic ‘men to battle’ machine, young men will get pumped and do what they have always done, it is in their nature.
Young people feigning cynicism and indifference because of cultural cues and style can be reversed on a dime if the cultural climate suddenly changes due to a nation going on war footing with patriotic and heroic calls being unleashed.
